Description
I'm really proud of this one. Also, this one took forever to do... The water was surprisingly calming to paint. Sorry that I'm only putting up my class environments up lately, but I don't seem to be doing much else, lately. I hope you like them, thoughAlso, sketch for this one is here: [link]
aaaand progression shots: [link]
Also, I don't know what the heck DA is doing with colors, but they look pretty bad. This thing was redder before I put it up....

I love it It's always very difficult to me to draw landscapes. your's looks so easy and natural, I'm astonished.

Thanks! And landscapes are really hard for me to draw, too. I think better in terms of color and defining every rock can get pretty dull... I do these ones in class, and that's the only reason I find the patience not to throw them out of the window and keep working on them (also, the teacher won't just let me say "it's done"). Also, reference helps! I have a hard time using it, but it really does. However, I found that putting all the lines there, allowing yourself to just fiddle a lot with the sketch really pays off for coloring, because the drawing is already done. You can really put attention to how the colors work and fix the lines that are messed up.
Also, thanks a lot for the watch . You have a lovely gallery, too!
