Description
Last background I did in 's class. I'll be just doing animation for a while now. I'm quite proud with this one. Also, this thing was painted really fast... I think I got it done in 4 or 5 hours (just the colors... The sketch took just about the same or maybe a little more). This was also the last one I drew before I started painting, so sadly I won't be putting any more environment art for a while (well, I have the sketches, I might put those up... there are a few that I didn't paint). I really would like to keep practicing, because I'm quite happy with how these came out, but... School's starting next week. I'll have to see how hard things are going to be this semester...Related content

Thanks a lot, that's a great compliment! I really miss making backgrounds, I should get back to it, but I never seem to be able to know how to start making them... I have a huge block about composing pictures - and with perspective, perspective hates me. Colors seem to just... flow and the thing just kind of paints itself. It's so weird for me to find some part about drawing that is actually "easy"! And thanks, I hope to keep improving!
