*You done well* I hear when I materialize outside the Empyrean Chambers, 36K klicks straight up. Threadmancy has its uses. And I don't feel tired.
*N2!* I exclaim happily. *You're still here!*
*For life, hopefully a long and happy one* she says. *And the sex was great.*
*Most definitely* I agree. Thinking that she is the only partner I may ever need.
*You will feel fatigue later* she warns me. *My power is not infinite. Let's go rescue Megan.*

The roar and blast are deafening and blinding being at ground zero. The woman hits like a supernova. But I've been there before and survived.
I survive this.
She does a double take seeing me unscathed - after some rapid healing - and I still radiate massive power. She lifts her psirifle and -
It materializes in my hand. I crush the titaniumtungsten alloy like it is paper and rend it to shreds. She fires conventional psi bolts at me but without the focus of her weapon, she's an untrained esper and I redirect them back at her. While she staggers, leaning against the wall, I quickly ping her, a couple of passive transceivers respond.
My work is good and impossible for even a Tara McEndicott to find them all.
"Kneel!" I command. "And pray for forgiveness."
She fights it as she starts to go down on one knee. Her face contorts in agony as she screams her defiance. Her body shaking, trying to overcome my irresistible compulsion. Then a serene expression lights up her face. She kneels happily.
"Pray."
She starts to prostrate as the lights flicker and decides to clasp her hands together in prayer. I telekinetically write Empyrean Property on her environment suit. She looks at me, and prays:

O Arianrhod o’r Olwyn Arian,
Gan yr holl enwau a roddir i ti—
Ni, dy blant cudd, yn gliniau’n hynod,
I glywed dy wirionedd, gweld dy wyneb.
Yma yn y Cylch, wedi’i daflu ar y Ddaear,
Ond agored i’r sêr—anweledig, ond go iawn.
O fewn ein calonnau, rho ddealltwriaeth geni,
I iachau ein hanafiadau o golled a unigrwydd.

"It's your funeral - " I start, when the blasts come in fast and furious. Somehow she has a psicannon and is hammering me and I cry out. She doesn't relent and I feel my shields weaking and they somehow refuse to reform.
*FONTAINE!* I scream. Only she could do all of this and -
My shields are at 5 percent and -
"This isn't over I bark!" and teleport away.

"NAT!" Megan exclaims running over to me, hugging me tight. "Did you see that?!" And "OWWWW! Pointy things."
"Intimidation factor of 10*," I say, retracting the spikes on the gauntlet. "And I did. You were incredible. I came to assist and - "
"I knew you couldn't be beaten," she says joyfully, plastering kisses all over my face. "I just knew it."
