Description
Only my second asoiaf fan art, so be gentle with me ^_^This is somewhere in book 2, after the dragonbirthing, when her hair is growing back. Also she has one bell, symbolising her victory. I liked painting her hair short. And also smiling. There is a lot of sinister-looking, suffering Danys out there, and I find it quite repetitive tbh.

Thank you! I'm hardly an expert, but here's what I've learned. Good paper and paint are necessary. Practice with one colour at a time, and use enough water (when you mix on your palette) to allow the paint to move a bit on the paper, but not make big puddles. And when you want to cover an area (like the purple circle), use as large a brush as you can handle - it will hold more water+colourmix. Practice - you will learn how thick the paint needs to be. Oh, and take a look on youtube, there are a lot of useful tutorials there. ^_^ Experiment, try also to paint or drop colour on wet (still shiny) paper, that's a lot of fun! And one last thing. Shiny paper means you can add colour and/or water safely, without causing backruns and blooms. If you want to paint another layer, the paper must be dry (not feel cool to the touch). Damn, it's hard to just explain in text. I hope it helped some. If you have more questions, don't be shy

Thank you! That was very usefull! When i've been coloring larger areas i've used quite big brusches but i think the ones i use are quite bad :/ they always lose threads which annoyingly stick to the painting so i think i should get new ones and just try diffrent things :3

Sounds like you need new brushes And you don't have to buy sable or squirrel or whatsit-brushes, synthetic have always worked very nicely for me - and they are more affordable. Good luck, I'm glad I could help!
