Description
I read about this amazing project, a man from my city is just about to start, a couple of days ago. He works at a psychiatric hospital and wants to do all he can to improve his patients situation. Some patients are hospitalized for many months and the prospect of going home might not feel as welcoming as it sounds.

Going home to a place you haven't been for months, and a place that the last time you were there, wasn't a very warm and beautiful place to be, can be very hard. By letting the patients choose a piece of artwork, that speaks to them, and bringing it back to their place can maybe help make their home a pleasent and nice place to be. This might help making the whole journey back a good and positive thing instead of something that is dreaded.

I immediately wrote to this beautiful man, who is starting the project, that I would love to participate and paint some artworks that can be donated and hopefully make a little difference for someone. This is the first piece I've created so far.
