Description
My rough layout for the Bifrost nursery rhyme challenge.The castle is "Swallow's Nest" in Yalta, Ukraine (Crimea). The dragon started out as a great blue heron before I gave her a make-over *GRIN* My teacher is just going to plotz when she sees this!

Oooh, I like this one! It's a nice skycasltey scape thing. What might add a nice effect to something like this is clouds of sort....or something along those tlines. But I like it

*nod* There's clouds. Just not in this rough. I have it all transferred to canvas and will (hopefully) start laying in the underpainting this week.

wow.. this one looks like it could be a stonking piece when it's finished. I can defintely see the bird influence in the dragon. What will it be done in eventually? Acrylics?

Had to do a bit more work on the composition. Ship is too big in this one and everthing seems to be on the same plane. I think I have it looking all right now, but plan to ask my teacher to check.
