And here we have the part two of the Winx Club girls within the same poses as the original Royal Senshi drawing (if you've ever seen it, anyway. Here: www.fortunecity.com/victorian/… .

Since I couldn't fit Stella and Layla on the first page with Bloom and the others, I'd put them here . . . and with Mirta and Lucy from Cloudtower (or Lucy, anyway, since Mirta vacated those premises ages ago by now LoL). ^_^

Run down of each girl (with pose ref from Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon):

Mirta (top left): Not too pleased with how her hair had come out (which I'd given a vague few more inches in length too, versus what it is on the show on purpose, yes), because I was spacing out when I started to add color to it (late night, last night). Since she's in a gown, I wanted her hair to be elegant, or at least less messy as it does in the series. So I accomplished that, at least, but since I knew no one would recognize her w/out the messy hair or blue dyed braid she always has, I did that but again, in a more "classy" way.

That darker blue strand is where the "mess up" had occurred, when I'd begun to color that as her normal hair color instead. But it doesn't look TOO bad, I don't think. She's STILL adorable AND my fave non-Winx Club girl, dammit. LoL

As for pose, she's in Sailoruranus/Princess Uranus's pose for no relation (that is, power/personality/sexual orientation-wise), but just because of all the remaining gowns and poses to choose from, she fit this one best. Since she's so shy and quiet, I doubt she'd want to trade with Stella or something and where her more revealing/eyecatching gown instead. LoL

But I like it for her, because it gives sophistication, class, and sex appeal to her.

Onto her sigil. Since I'm not PRECISELY sure what HER powers are in the series (although I have an idea/hunch) and I didn't want to put a freaking pumpkin for her, I'd just re-drawn the cute little sigil tattoo I'd given to her in that one Winx Style I drawing I'd done of her a while back. (Sift through my gallery if you'd forgotten LoL) Plus, her true/real Winx costume in the series showcases a lot of diamond shapes on her person, ANYWAY, so there you go. Except this one's orange, since her power color is orange. ^_^

And yes, the gown's orange for the same reason.

Next.

Lucy: "Lucy in the sky with diamonds." LoL Talk about ironic, yeah? You know, cuz I'd drawn a diamond shape onto Mirta's forehead, and she's Lucy's best friend and standing next to her, and...yeah. LoL But no acid trips here for these ladies. LoL (Making reference to the song here, people. ^_^)

Anyhow, before you say it, YES, I know (all too well) that Lucy is not a fairy but a witch, and she nor Mirta are princesses. So? Neither are Tecna and Flora in the other drawing, but I'd drawn them as such anyhow.

There aren't really a lot of drawings (fanart-wise, and even original art) of Lucy, which is very disappointing to me, because she too has a lot of promise as a developing character. So, for fun, I'd drawn her into the mix of things so Mirta won't feel lonely. LoL

HOW perfect was Sailorpluto/Princess Pluto's pose for this girl? Arms folded and a gown that's subtle yet effective? It's like Takeuchi-sama foresaw that in the future I would draw Lucy in this pose. LoL

So yeah. That covers the reason for the pose/person choice for Lucy (again, with no relation to power/personality with Setsuna -- although they both are pretty sad, loners, lonely, and secretive).

For her hair, it's the same as it is on the show, except I'd added a few extra inches in length and had given it SLIGHT bounce/curves to it. (No disrespect to Lucy and leaving her hanging without a classy do or anything. It's just that besides still being a witch, I can't picture her doing the whole "makeover" scene ever. )

Made her eyes closed and frowning on purpose for three reasons: 1. If you watch the show, about 80% of the time, happy, sad, or pissed, she's ALWAYS caught with her eyes closed and frowning. 2. It further serves to bring attention to the pose (arms folded). And 3. Adds humor to the shot because it looks as though she'd gotten dragged into this by Mirta (who probably wanted to further incorporate Lucy and her old witch world into her new fairy world and fairy friends) and isn't very happy about that, the gown, or makeup. LoL

As for the sigil, since I don't know her specific power as a witch, I'd just used the pendant she always wears on her tank top as her sigil. It's a cute pendant, so it worked out fine.

Stella: Ah, Princess Stella. This isn't much of a stretch for her (or Layla, really) to be in gowns, etc. BUT, NOW Stella looks GORGEOUS in comparison to HER horrid princess gown that she wears in the first episode of season 1 (go find it on YouTube and laugh/gag with me if not already LoL).

A lot of people expected me to draw her in Sailorvenus/Princess Venus's pose, but just because they look alike. I understand that. But as I'd stated ages ago, I didn't do this to do relations between the Winx gals and the Senshi. Did it based upon the poses.

Anyway, I'd selected Sailorneptune/Princess Neptune's gown and pose for Stella because, if you WANT some relation, they're both pretty arrogant and shallow at times, as well intuitive and pretty keen fashion sense. (Yes, I hate Neptune, for those who did not already know/could not tell. LoL)

But besides that, Neptune's gown is the most...provacative, I would say, and most flattering for Stella (which is perfect for her, for all the reasons I'd just said).

Pose is perfect for her, as well, because it's capturing Stella's more caring, thoughtful side, at the same time that it helps put further accent upon her elegant and regal nature.

Hair, of course, is Enchantix style just like all the other Winx gals.

My FAVORITE part of Stella here (besides how she looks in the gown and its color tint of HER power color of soft orange), is her sigil. I think I'd done a pretty durn good job. LoL You know, because her powers derive from both the sun AND the moon, so I'd merged the two together and placed it upon her forehead like all the other gals.

I love her face here, because it'd come out so adorably.

Layla: I know she's missing her (God-awful looking -- for HER, anyway and its color) tiara, but I couldn't put it AND have you see her sigil successfully, so I didn't do it.

Her sigil, since her powers are of Morfix, which is a type of liquid that can take any shape, etc, is of a raindrop shape to remind you OF liquids. And then the four wave squiggles around it are to remind you that because her power IS Morfix, that raindrop shape on her forehead could change form at any moment, and go every which way that I'd drawn (of the squiggles).

Best I could do to succeed in capturing that mentality without going too far, but I think it looks very nice for her. (And since she's my fave next to Tecna, you KNOW I'd taken great care with her LoL)

Hair is also Enchantix style (which I hate, but I had to do it to be fair -- plus, THIS shade I'd done it isn't as obnoxious and makes it more appealing...to me at least).

Pose/gown is Sailorsaturn/Princess Saturn's (no relation for choice with personality/power, again -- although, again, I suppose you could say they share the feelings of loneliness and keeping to oneself they both harbored before meeting their individual friends later on), for a few reasons. First, besides this gown, only Small Lady Serenity and Venus's gowns were left to use, and Small Lady's definitely wouldn't flatter Layla, and Venus's was too "plain" for her. And then, second, Saturn's pose fits Layla because with her facial expression in this shot and her fingers to her lips like that, it helps showcase her natural sex appeal and beauty that she possesses despite her feminist/tomboy attitude she exudes in the series day to day.

Love the gloves on her, as well, so I'm glad I'd chosen this gown for her.

Oh, and green gown obviously in relation more so to her Enchantix and regular Winx costumes versus her power color, since that's a bit of a soft pink shade. But there were/are far too many pink this, magenta that gowns and power colors floating around in this project so I said go with green.

Besides, Layla looks breathtaking in green (in this gown, period) better than pink (so yes, I did test it first with that color before settling on green), besides it bringing a more healthy, glowing and rich tone to her complexion (and not to mention, further bring out her even more beautiful eye shade).

So there it is. Part II of this royal princess project. As my sister had asked I do, I'm going to merge both sets and post that later so it will be a full portrait of every girl involved.
