YES! AGAIN, I say, FUNK you, old Sailormeridian drawing!! Redemption againnnnnnnn!!! Weeeeeeee!! *Dances*I really AM getting the hang of drawing freaking Elyon, my mortal enemy and weakness.... *Shakes fist*

Anyhow! Yes, yes, here be Elyon Brown from W.I.T.C.H., but as featured within my "Reloaded" W.I.T.C.H. fanfiction (with pose ref from Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon).

Since I'm still doing my 'Project Piece'...project, lol, I had to draw her as Sailormeridian again as part of it...and thank JEEBUS, it came out fannnnnnnnnnnnntastically better than the first.
(I call the first my 'alien eyes' piece, since I'd accidentally made Ellie's eyes too big for her face
But it's actually adorable...in a creepy kinda way ^_^' )Even though the 'powder blue' shade of her top skirt area and color doesn't look like said color, unfortunately, thanks to Mr. Scanner, at least I finally got an actual periwinkle marker this time around to do her boots/bodysuit/elbow bands/bottom skirt tier! Yayyyyy. ^_^

Yea I have a Winx Club OC who has curly hair, and it took me forever to draw it! I'm still working on it now actually, I just can't seem to get it right -.-
Maybe I should make a character with straight hair next time haha!

lol i HAD to draw her again, for reasons i'd already stated in the AC. for the project piece as the main reason (hence the same pose as corny, and soon to be 'ranee and will....it'll all come together and look perty/uniformed once they're merged
and yep! every shade is more accurate now, except the way the scanner made the powder blue of her collar and top skirt look.

I'm working on my "Just Blondes" pic right now myself. I managed to catch a cold/cough on top of everything else, so my activity is limited anyways... nothing like a cup of warm tea right now for my throat, since everything ELSE (including throat lasengers) has failed.

Nice! It looks really good! I like the colors on her uniform, even though you said they're off lol. My scanner does that sometimes too, I've started tinkering with the colors a little on the computer before submitting so they're as close to the original as I can.
So, question, when you "color" in those little highlights, like on her boots and ribbon, how exactly do you decide where those are supposed to be? I can figure out the hair highlights pretty easily, most of the time. And I can kinda do shadows on clothing if I have something to reference for it...

As for the highlight junk, I can't honestly explain that one. LoL I've been doing it so long, with my b/w art and color that it's kinda second nature. But usually I just choose/'hug' the corners or edges for that, like you see with the boots. Ya know, areas where you'd usually or most likely see some 'sheen' on an item/piece of clothing or accessories like shoes. ^_^
