I've started to participate in 30min challenges on tumblr (blame Kejzfox for pulling me into that
), and it's really fun. It made me realize how bad are my initial sketches/drawings and how much time I spend fixing things... And my submissions so far were really, really awful. I think I need a lot more practice.So, this one was not an official 30min challenge, but a self-imposed one, to try some techniques new to me and a couple of tools. I asked a friend who to draw, and he suggested Raindrops. The picture on the left took me 30 minutes exactly. Then I played with some filters and effects a little and made the one to the right.

Love seeing something again in that sketch and line art free style of yours. The drawing where your avatar is taken from is still one of my favourites, even if it was before my time (i.e, time I first started following you)
