Are you using a drawing tablet? What kind? Also, do you think the ''sai'' is only accessible through Photoshop CS3?

During this tutorial I used a Bamboo Pen and Touch
Now I completely have a different style and used a Wacom Intuos 4 instead but any tablet can do these things.
SAI and Photoshop are different drawing programs but used in a similar way

you got to have a layer under the lineart

you mean the sketch layer or do i have to create a blank layer under the lineart?

When you made a sketch, create another layer above the sketch for Lineart, after lineart create another layer below that lineart and do the flat color

i don't know how to do the light and lineart part, but the other parts i think i know

The lineart part takes a little time.... but be patient
The light is really up to you, what you see everyday is what you can do

Aah, I forgot to mention that part, after step 3, which is the bucket thing, create a new layer over that and put "Layer Clip" then choose a darker color and paint

I see that no artist can draw a perfect circle without the use of an equipment,
all you need to do is to make the circle look like a circle
