OK, this one was done more as a goof, using his first appearance 'look', I went with that premise, I figure he encases himself in ice which he can manipulate and afford him some outside protect...that and I thought it'd be fun....the scarf and Top Hat I admit maybe went too far.Related content

I think your version works because you took the time and effort to add in the silhouette inside of the snowman. If you would have left it as an opaque, featureless snowman, the redesign wouldn't have worked as well.

My best guess? I'd say if he has full control over his ability, he could potentially make it so there would be an area he could have oxygen flow through, or perhaps with complete control over the ice/water could draw out the oxygen from it...but I'm just speculating as I have no degree in the sciences....
