Bubble Web
Stepping out of my comfort zone to do some macro photography for a competition.
I composed this by half-filling a bowl with water and detergent liquid and blowing bubbles into it. Once the bowl was overflowing I dripped some of the bright green liquid detergent onto the bubbles so it would gather in between them making this web-like effect, then shot from above.

Love the lightning, colours and textures in this shot. This is easily the best of the two for me.

Thanks, Greg. This is the one I ended up submitting. I think it is a more interesting photo. Maybe just because I don't like looking at photos of myself.
