Description Last and definitive take on the Haradrim Swordmaster character.

I set him on the top of a rock (background is a paintover of some reference and a Prince of Persia promotional image) against the sunset.

Two more hours of PS + Wacom.

I really like the work you've done here. the textures and feel of the landscape are great, and the swordsman is superb. The only thing that bugs me about this piece is that the swordsman is too smoothly rendered against the more choppy paint-like background.

Thank you very much.
Yes it's digital for the most part (coloring) but the linework is hand-drawn. It gives the picture "that" sense of traditional art I still love.

Yeah maybe.
I will update a new reworked version very soon.
I adjusted the lightning a little and saturated/desaturated here and there, and also I'm planning to work up a little more those areas left (intentionally) "unfinished". Maybe the backgorund needs a little blurring, too.

Great work but I think his back and area under his head is too much dark. It seems to me that place is too "flat". And then guy is more detatched from enviro. I think if you add sth details there it would be much better. But this is only my opinion
