The first My Little Pony is still first in my heart, my mind and my line of inspirational colourful horses.
Might remake this a bit someday.
I feel like I need people to get this. Am I alone?
You are looking at this stamp "out of context"!
The idea is to use this on pictures and customs of/on first generation ponies and also "oc's" inspired by the first generation. Feel free to do the same - if you know the difference!

Medans G4 i sig själva inte skadade så fick de en hord av obehagliga fans. Nu har dessa fans blivit såpass intresserade av MLPs historia så stamps som den här behövs inte längre, tack och lov^^
(Det var en jobbig tid när en gång på gång fick höra att en gjorde fel bara för att det inte såg ut som eller betedde sig som G4or)

I honestly like botj of them the same. Newer MLP for OCs and older ones as just the ponies. So yeah i agree with you.

Yes, I know a lot the diference, I'm a G1 lover but I don't like G4, only the they have the same tittle :MY Little Pony", for me G1 is better, you aren't alone about it.

It almost feel like FIM fans are trying to wash out MLP G1 and other gens. I am personally a G1 fan But like G2 pretty well. use to collect G3. so I am more drawn to G1 but I don't go around bashing other people about it. I am sorta less tolorent to FIM fans because of the strate up mean nasty attitudes but I also know that the more genuine Fim fans don't care enough about trolling people so thus its bad bronies that give the entire fim fandom the bad name..
My brother is a brony and doesn't care to make an opinion about other gens, He won't say a nasty thing to or about people on the net or real life. I mean I started collecting when I was 9 and had ponies even before that.
but the native bronies see other Gens as fail and pre-Fim. I see the 'Love And Tolerate' as a very contradicting message because they bash people in their own fan-dome whether they like it or not. it's all MLP but fail to realize it. I see the 'Love And Tolerate' as please don't pick on me message about liking ponies rather than the except all ways of life or whatever it really is or really means..meaning is lost.
But over all I am not trying to make another debate about FIM as there is nothing elce but this all over the net and real life.. so tired of it all.
G1 is just the simple chiledhood toys and magic that we can com back to once again, a moment in time of peace and simple-ness.

I KNOW, right? I'm OK with FiM, (but G1 is forever #1 in my heart...followed closely by G3 (but not G3.5) Personally, I find G2's creepy (the eyes, mostly), but I won't go into that) but, with how...rampant it has become, it almost gets tiring.
Because whenever somebody hears I collect ponies, they're most likely going to think FiM...when I don't actually HAVE any G4's. They're too expensive for the size of the toy...it's almost half the size of the G1's, for twice the price! (well..relatively speaking...as of the price when they were new...weren't they like $5 or something? Now they're $8, for a smaller toy.) I will NOT pay more for less! Now...if I were to find them in a second hand store on the other hand...
But also...some of the things that FiM fans do...their stories and such...and putting their fetishes into the fandom...*shudder* >_<

They seem to be doing a good job as well, can hardly find any G1 art today when searching the net or art sites.
I don't know why I feel so happy every time someone says they like G2, maybe it's because too many "bad mouths" it? I find them cute in an elegant way^^
I of course agree and know that it's the bad bronies and not the sane fans that ruined the fandom. I've seen too much from the "bad bronies". I'm pretty sure they ruined FiM for me, spreading out their hate under the cover of "love and tolerance". I can't really watch the episodes without getting flashbacks to their nastiness, so I've only seen the first season.
But FiM is like only about the show and not at all about the toys. And I'm mostly interested in the toys, since childhood, naturally (collecting today).
So all the judgment G1 pictures receives from FiM fanatics feel extremely illogical to me.
It's like if someone would love the movie Spaceballs and then hate all about the old Star wars figures/toys. Why? But such people might exist as well. It just seems so unnecessary exhausting XD
I would say the stamp has nothing to do with FiM being good or bad as too many seems to think, it's all about a message to the fans who does not share my opinion that they are not the same.

Sometime I'm happy too when I see a lover of a old generations (G1 specially), I love genration 1, G2 and G3 I'm not interested but is good.
But I don't like FIM

Sweet! I feel that there aren't enough of us around who still adore and miss the classic G1 My Little Pony line. 
As a fan of the little ponies since I was a little boy of just 4, I really hate it when people who've come in to the franchise through FiM go "Oh there was a MLP cartoon before Lauren Faust?...ewwww that cartoon is rubbish, you're dumb for liking it!". It makes me sadface.

The first ponies are my favourites and my inspiration. That said, it makes me sad when the FiM(-only) fans makes so much effort to almost always talk about their FiM-ponies and why they are better - on G1 art pictures.
And when it comes to the cartoons I think each of them have their own charm

Ugh, It makes me sad too. I have nothing against FiM-- it's a nice show and I watch it myself, but I really wish the fans were a bit more respectful to the older generations. I can't go on a single pre-FiM stamp, deviation or YouTube video with seeing some of the usual "Eww, this sucks", "Too girly", "The new one is better" or "This is so gay" or those really long-wall-of-text comments explaining why G4 is superior to all other generations. And you know what? It's all so unnecessary! It's okay to hate or dislike something, but it's also nice to respect others likes and interests.
Seriously, I remember watching Princess Promenade on Youtube and left a comment about how I thought pre-FiM ponies look more equine and horse-like than the G4 ponies-- that's it. A couple of hours later I already have someone giving me an essay about how it's 'better' for the G4 ponies to be drawn that way and how it makes the characters more 'relatable' and how the G4 ponies look better the 'hippos' from the older generations. Gosh. It's like we're not supposed to like any aspects of pre-Fim over the newer generation.

It took some time before I watched FiM, but I did watch it before I made myself an opinion about the show itself. Sadly I had bad vibes from the fans before watching it. FiM was like most of the pony shows, it had it's charm, but all of them have their different charm, so I like them for different reasons.
But I guess I got tired of the fanatic fans who constantly claimed that the last one was the only right one and "bla bla essays about rules and proof".
Good for them that they have proof for why I don't like the things I like. XD
The example you just mentioned is one of the typical things about the fanatic FiM fans (as I recognize them anyway).
The same type of fans that made me so tired. On G1 pictures they could often mention how much was wrong with the anatomy because "MLP does not look like that" and it would be so obvious that "the right model" was the FiM style. And then use their "facts" to tell the artist even more about how untalented the artist was. Instead of just doing a little different kind of research and " get proof" on the net and realize that there was years before 2010.

Do you mean the DVDs? There is a complete release of the G1 series - both G1 series in fact (MLPTales of course) on region 1 discs. And yeah, I love all the MLP cartoons, even the (for some reason) much-maligned G3 and G3.5 era. xD

I don't know if they where released in this country, if they where they probably re-dubbed them in a horrible way.
Tales I managed to get at least, but they are at my parents house so my little niece has something to watch when she visits them^^
I have seen two G3 movies (or long episodes) and considering they being budget made and are aimed for little children I found them way better then most people give them credit for. Or maybe I just happened to see the two best ones?^^

Ah righto, the toys. Yeah, not all of them get released in Britain either - in any generation. Hasbro has a pretty patchy release rate of anything pony-related anywhere in the world, unless you're in America in which case everything is available to buy. xD This has been going on since the start of G1, and is still going on now with the FiM toys.
And the other thing I'm really annoyed at is the release of the FiM cartoon series. Apparently it started airing on British TV but got removed from the schedules about halfway through season 1! So anybody wishing to watch FiM has to buy the DVDs from Amazon's US website, as they don't even import them to Amazon UK. Big frowny faces for Hasbro all 'round.

Sad thing they reused the name, if they had added something extra for each "generation" the confusion could be less of a mess, like say "my cute little pony".
