Some opening scenes I whipped up in 2 days. this is #4 of 4 but I don't feel like posting the others. This one took the longest and is the most detailed. It's just too adorable not to post up X3Related content

lol well it wasn't much of a song really as the silly ramblings of the onceler character. that's who mer-ler is.... he's a onceler OC. the character the onceler comes from the Lorax movie and this particular scene is a scene where the onceler is leaving home to make his way in the world and he's riding along in this wagon with his mule and just singing silly tunes. that's about it ^^"

Very true. That's why I gave a Disney and a non-Disney example. Olaf annoys me to no end, but I like him better than Wesselton or Lefou (Beauty and the Beast, the biggest suck-up that ever was, and his name means "the fool" in French.) That said, I like Pascal (Tangled) and Louis (Princess and the Frog) better than him because they speak less/not at all and, even if they're scared, are always on the lookout for the best interests of the heroes.

haha very true. ^u^ I don't especially like many of the newer disney movies. I admit I've sorta stopped watching them because they are rather dull and uninteresting compared to older movies, but some characters are intriguing.

I think that new Disney is wasted on a generation that can't appreciate the deeper messages the movies try to convey. That's why I tend to stick to 90s Disney.

ah... I just think the newer movies are poorly made with cheesy, convoluted plots and uninteresting, poorly developed characters. there doesn't seem to be the same love that there was in the 2D animated pieces and we'll never ever see that again, sadly

I can agree with you on Big Hero 6 or even Frozen (Let it Go is overplayed, despite it being a good song, and most people won't get its message anyway.), but Tangled was well made. And at least Rapunzel has an excuse for acting so awkwardly and unnervingly perky/shy and sad around others, not like that annoying bitch Anna from Frozen.
I have hope for Moana though, which is saying something because hope is something in short supply with me. Faith is something you'd find more of.

I loved Tangled when it came out. I compared it to when the little mermaid came out in 1989. Tangled was a new pivotal point in Disney's evolution. it was the start of a new era in Disney animated features and thus anything to follow will follow the same pattern as in the 90s. the first movie will be a smash hit, he second probably not so much, the third will make history, and anything to follow will dwindle in the shadow of that last success.
