Are you surprised of seeing Axl on a fic that supposedly takes pre-X1?

So am I, because he wasn't supposed to be here!
Even if it is an AU, I like to stay in-canon as much as possible. However, I wanted the jolly energy that Axl gives into the Hunter trio. I just think they make a good team. So I created an OC to replace him but... ultimatedly, why would I create a random OC when I can have the real thing? It's an AU after all!

That of course means there are some interesting changes that I will explain once the full piece is complete!
