Description
Here it is, my current custom Night Fury from How to Train Your Dragon. I used an Experiment 626 by MINDstyle for the base. Using a mix of Kato Polyclayand Premo, I sculpted on the little flaps and bumps on his head, little wings and tail. I cut off the ears, switched, turned them around, glued them back on and filled the gaps with the clay mixture. I cured the clay by using a heat gun. Once the sanding and prepping were done, the eyes were drawn on with pencil and finished off with a paint job all done by hand. He’s actually a little darker in person, close to his midnight blue color in the movieI love How to Train Your Dragon and I knew I had to use MINDstyle’s Experiment 626 to custom it into Toothless. I finally was able to get a hold of one at this year’s Designer Con in Pasadena for a great price. I should have gotten more but I didn’t really have the funds. I want to do a couple more versions of Night Fury. I went with a very simple design this time.
Fun fact: Did you think that Toothless resembled Stich? It’s probably because both Lilo&Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon were directed by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders. I love Chris Sanders’ work!

Yeah, my dad has it on Blue-Ray but I only got to sit all the way through once due to constant interruptions.

I have the BluRay too ^_^. It was really awesome seeing it in 3-D in theaters. I would love to have been able to see in in 3-D in a full fleged IMAX theater

Lucky, I didn't get to see it in 3D. Only Real-D movie I had ever seen is Clash of the Titans. It was kinda disappointing because alot of the time it didn't look 3D at all.
