My entry for contest "Picture yourself".EDIT : This piece won the first place in the contest
21X29,7, pencils, pastels, watercolor and markers
I decided to picture myself with some of the characters of my novels, because I think they are part on myself. Each one is a kind of double of me.
So, you can admire first my lovely couch and a part of my "lovely" flat.
As you probably noticed, I'm the one dressed in black drawing. around me, you can see some faber castel pencils and pastels, some tria markers and china ink pen.

This piece fills me with happiness. I too feel that my characters are as much a legitimate part of my soul and as real as this lifetime. Without them I would be lost!

ah, moi non plus, un cadeau de mon oncle (ps, c'est vrai qu'on dérive un peu, mais d'un autre côté, c'est toujours sympa de voir avec quoi les autres travaillent)

Et chacune, à tour de rôle, ont glissé un regard tout à la fois attentif, bienveillant et intéressé sur la tisseuse de vie.
Car il en était ainsi, ses doigts sculptaient, étirant, rassemblant, insufflant vie à l'inanimé.
En retour, d'autres touches de vie colorées faisaient leur apparition dans son existence.
Ainsi la Tisseuse était dans ses créations et ses créations portaient immanquablement sa patte.
