Well, by George, this is a Victorian drama straight from the classics like Charles Dickens. The two characters in this picture could well be two of his characters, such as Fagin and Nancy. They appear to be on th way somewhere and watching scrupulously for something or someone. Oliver, Bill Sikes or the police? The scene is most likely Vic'an London, aint it?
The skill in presentation is really smooth. The setting was well-made and perhaps reflects the artist's own background, if I aint too cheeky to suppose. The other details, color, lighting and various objects such as lamps, are very well-thought.
Cheers!

As cool as this is, it kinda defies all the rules and logic of Lovecraftian horror. :c
You can't fight Cthulhoid abominations, cause you'll go crazy just by looking at them! D:

Well I guess that kinda clears the air a bit. :3
Most of the time you'd go crazy, as in you'd be in a padded cell jerking it to "They're coming to take me away haha" until your hand goes from red to blue. x3
But on the other hand, if you're brave enough, you'd try and take matters into your own hands. :3

Maxim 12: A soft answer turneth away wrath. Once wrath is looking the other way, shoot it in the head.
Maxim 24: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from a big gun.
Maxim 34: If you're leaving scorch-marks, you need a bigger gun.
Maxim 37: There is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'time to reload.'

J'avais entendu ces maximes quelque part (l'une d'elles, la 24, est dérivée d'un d'une phrase de Carl Sagan), cela fait plaisir de les relire.
Pour la 34, je dirai "and amor piercing ammo or HE or both of these"
Pour la 37, j'ajouterai "fire at will" mais je fais la fine bouche.
Bon courage pour la suite .
