"Huh?" Fluttershy was confused.
"Surprise!" Discord cheered. "Do you like it? Maud helped me pick it out!"
Fluttershy looked at the lump of coal in her hoof. "Well..."
Discord frowned. "What's wrong?"
"I guess I just don't understand why you gave me a lump of coal in a little velvet case."
"It's not the lump of coal, but what it represents." Discord took the lump in his claw and paw. "Fluttershy, our love is like this lump of coal. It may not look like much on the outside, but give it a little time, and some effort," he began squishing the coal between his hands, then moved his paw to reveal a diamond ring, "then you'll find something beautiful."
Fluttershy gasped as he slid the ring onto her hoof. "Fluttershy, will you marry me?"
Tears started streaming out of Fluttershy's eyes. "I will!" She then leaned in and hugged him as everypony applauded.
"Congrats, you two!" Twilight cheered. "When will the wedding be?"
Discord looked at Fluttershy. "How about two months from now?"
"Sure. We can decide the exact date later."
They continued hugging.
