"Why have you brought us in the middle of the forest in the dead of night?"

The hooting of an owl's whispers filled the night. Discord floated with his arms folded gazing around the surroundings as Fluttershy looked at her two children. "Honey, the other children, are they?" Fluttershy inquired as Chance cut in, "Don't worry mom, they're safe. They've been with us." "I'd love an explanation," Discord spoke, his tail twitching slightly. "Your father's right," Fluttershy agreed, "While we're relieved to know you're safe and here with us now, you owe us an explanation." "And that's why we're here!" Lily said, "This is something you have to see." Discord and Fluttershy exchanged a look before he nodded at Lily saying, "Proceed." Chance and Lily looked at one another. "Are they ready?" Chance asked. "Are you referring to our parents or them?" Lily grinned. Chance's tail wagged as he replied, "Let's not wait a moment more." Lily's eyes shimmered as she looked back to her parents. "Mom. Dad. These last few months my brother and I have been on this incredible quest, searching." "Searching for what?" Discord asked with a raise of brow. Looking to her brother, they both nodded. "Follow us." They walked forward before immediately disappearing. Fluttershy and Discord's eyes widened as they both said, "Kids!"

Discord raced forward as he extended his arm out. As he reached out, his hand suddenly disappeared as Fluttershy let out a frightening yelp. Discord flinched as he pulled his arm away. Looking at it he looked back into what seemed like the forest. That's when Lily and Chance's head popped from what seemed to be out of nowhere. "Come on Pop's," Lily said, "It's just a disguise." "It's kind of like a portal." Chance added, "Just walk through." They disappeared once more as Fluttershy looked at Discord. Taking a deep breath they followed after their children. As soon as they walked through the ground beneath them changed. "Oh my!" Fluttershy said, "What in Equestria am I standing on? It's like we're walking amongst the stars and clouds! We're not in the sky, are we?" "No mom," Lily giggled, "That's just how this land is." Discord took a look around the area and surroundings. "Something feels different." he said slowly. "Come on, we're almost there!" Chance said floating ahead. "It's just beyond this hill." "I've never seen Chance so outgoing before." Fluttershy commented as they climbed the hill. As they started to reach the top, Lily started to slow her speed. Discord noticed this as he said, "Is something wrong?" They all paused as they looked back to Lily. "It's just..." Lily begun, "This is a big moment and I have no idea how you'll react. I just...don't want you to be disappointed." "Lulu," Fluttershy said as she went to her daughter's side, "It'll be alright. I'm sure...whatever it is you want to show us won't make us be disappointed in you." She looked up as she looked at her family. Chance gave an encouraging smile as Lily let out a huge sigh. "Okay," she said as she went over to Chance's side, "Let's show 'em baby bro."

The four climbed the hill as they reached the top. Looking down into the clearing they saw what looked like a town set-up. Lily and Chance stood excitedly as they looked back to their parents. Discord and Fluttershy stood there confused, not knowing what they were looking at. "Well um that was sort of, anticlimactic." Discord muttered as Fluttershy nudged him. That's when they saw some of the other missing children come into the clearing. Star noticed the Fluttercord family as she smiled. "Look they're here!" she exclaimed. "Star!" Fluttershy called as she darted forward. "Wait Mom there's-" Chance and Lily started but Fluttershy was already rushing down the hill. As Fluttershy ran she suddenly lost balance as the floor beneath her became slippery. Discord darted after her as Chance and Lily exchanged a look. As she slipped and slide, Fluttershy was about to fall on her face when Discord came in scooped her up. Floating to bottom of the hill, Fluttershy said, "What happened?" Discord looked back at the ground closely as he saw slippery paths. "Slippery roads," he said, "But this looks like something I would do." Letting Fluttershy down slowly, she looked up as her eyes widened. "D-Discord." she said slowly. Looking up Discord's eyes widened as they met with a pair of blue eyes. He had a brown long body with different animal features. Discord blinked as he said slowly, "It can't be." Lily and Chance were just a few feet behind them as they nodded at Joseph. Nodding back at them, Joseph said, "Come on out you guys." Slowly, one by one, the clearing started to become full of like as draconequus began to make their presence known. Fluttershy gasped slightly as she covered her mouth in shock. Discord's eyes were round and wide as he stood next to his wife shocked. Draconeqqus filled the area as the rest of the missing children appeared amongst the crowd.

Lily and Chance slowly walked past their parents as they joined the group in the middle. All of the missing children were now in the middle of the clearing, draconequus surrounding them. Lily was at the front as she said, "Mom. Dad. I'm sorry I ran off without warning. If I had told you what I was planning to do, you would have stopped me. And at some point during the journey I thought things were hopeless but my friends were there to support me. I couldn't have done it without them. But look at what we've done! We found the draconequus by following the diamond stars!" The two stood their in shock as the draconequus eagerly watched them with interest. A sinking feeling came over Lily's heart as she gulped. She exchanged a look with her friends as she looked back at them. "W-What do you think?" A couple moments of silence passed by. That's when Discord walked forward slightly, taking in the sight. All eyes were on him. Whispers filled the area as he gazed around. That's when eyes landed on two draconequus. It was Lady Sofia and Emperor Aegeus as they walked towards Discord. In front of one another, they saw that they all had tears in their eyes. After a few moments Aegeus said, "Discord? Is it really you?" Discord blinked through the tears as a memory came to mind of a name. "You look so familiar." Discord said slowly, "You remind me of someone I once knew. Agatha?" Tears came down his cheeks as he said, "That was my mother's name." Discord chuckled slightly through the tears as he said, "I-I'm speechless." "Discord son of Eris and Dissary, the heir of the draconequus throne." Sofia said. "Mom and Dad." Discord said softly as more tears fell down his face. Aegeus hesitantly reached his hand forward as Discord did the same. After a moment the two brought each other in for a hug as tears pooled from their eyes. Everyone began to cheer.

Pulling back Discord looked back to his children. Rushing to them he brought them into an embrace as they began to cry as well. It wasn't often they'd see their father cry. "Oh you crazy kids," Discord sniffed, "You did the impossible." "We're not the only ones anymore." Lily said. Discord pulled back as he held the sides of his children's cheeks. "Listen to me," Discord said, "You are the most brave, kind-hearted, talented, wonderful, unique creatures I have ever seen. You amaze me every single day and I'm so proud into the mares and stallions you've become. But know this, you are the most special draconequus in this entire world. Don't ever forget that." Chance and Lily nodded as they pressed foreheads against one another. Fluttershy came beside her family as she kissed the tops of her babies heads and exchanged a kiss with her husband.

"So what happens now?"
