Description
Name: Kama
Gender: Male
Species: (Pichu)
Type:
Age: 16
Rank: Ranger
Housing #: Room 14
Moveset: Volt Tackle
Thundershock
Charm
Thunder Wave
Personality:
Inventive - Kama isn't a battler, and he knows that better than anyone. That doesn't stop him from practicing his moves though, and the results show the effort. Kama mostly uses Thunder Wave recreationally, and discovered one day that sharp bursts of electricity on sand produces the most spherical glass orbs anyone ever saw. If you tell Kama something can't be done, he'll prove to you there's a way to get it done, and he'll have it mastered.
Intuitive - Kama likes looking at a scene after it happens, without having witnessed what happened, and trying to see what happened. He picks up on tiny details and tries to imagine what went down. He can also use this to figure most people out after getting a few random details about their appearance. Occasionally he goes too far and ends up showing off, but most of the time he's quiet about his observations.
Outgoing - If there's anything Kama enjoys, its socializing. He could be talking to someone who he's known for years or someone he's known for seconds and he would treat them all just the same: by getting up in their space and being their best friend. Kama isn't completely insensitive to others, though. He can tell when he's getting to be too much for someone to handle and usually backs off without (much) complaint.
Aggressive - Kama has tendencies to get frustrated very quickly if things aren't going exactly according to how he plans them. His voice gets louder, sparks start flying, and he gets clumsy with his paws and words. Only when he's extremely irritated does he use his strongest move, Volt Tackle. Mostly against an object, never another cat. It doesn't take too long for him to cool down, and when he's calm again he becomes very apologetic.
Proud - Kama is very self-aware. He knows his capabilities and how they compare to the capabilities of others. He knows exactly where he stands and hes proud of what he can do. He will do whatever it takes to defend his pride and his name. This is usually what causes the most problems, especially since Kama isn't all that much when compared to most others. He defends what's his even if it isn't his.
Held item: Light ball (the pineapple on the wristband was actually carved to look that way from a light ball. The fact it was carved and that a Pichu is holding it weakens its power considerably.)
Some background info: Kama is one of many Pichus that were made in effort to find one that was rarer, maybe with better personality traits, maybe with more preferable markings. Essentially, Kama was mass produced, like how there are kitten mills. He knew and everyone knew that whatever the people wanted, he wasn't it. Where he and the other Pichu he grew up with is an unknown location. In fact, all the Pichu there were his siblings or half-siblings in some way. None of them ever met their parents. Eventually, the desired Pichu must have been born, because more Pichu stopped coming. The mill-like situation was shut down, all the Pichu were tossed out into the wild to fend for themselves, but Kama managed to get his paws on the light ball that one of his parents owned, to have all his family know the same move, Volt Tackle. After leaving, Kama used a very very watered down version of Volt Tackle to gently carve the shape of a pineapple out of the light ball, and fixed that on the wristband he wears.
Relationships: (....Kama knows nobody... at least not yet...)
RP example: Kama wiggled his paws in the sand, unused to the feeling of sinking into the ground. His newly made wristband was slipping against his fur, so he used his teeth to readjust and tighten it to keep it in place. Suddenly, Kama began shuddering, and he felt a crackling energy shooting up inside him. His claws dug into the sand, trying to find a steady grip on the loose ground. He hissed in shock and discomfort as the energy shot out of him, no, out of his FACE, and struck the sand between his paws. Yowling in shock, he leaped backwards, terrified by what had just occurred. He regained his footing and stared at the shiny orb in the sand, the orb that hadn't been there before, no it definitely wasn't there before. He tentatively reached out a paw to nudge it and watched it roll in the sand. Slowly he began to piece together what happened. Unwillingly, he had used Thundershock for the first time. Doing that had some sort of effect on the sand, turning it to a perfect glass sphere. Joy filled Kama as he realized that this little orb, this tiny glass thing, was something that HE had MADE. Here was something that made him special, that set him apart. All his young life he had heard of cats doing great things with their abilities, but only in battle-- never for something like this, something productive. Purring to himself, Kama scraped sand over the sphere and set off walking in a different direction. He hoped some other cat would come along and dig up the sphere and find this as a treasure, Kama liked that. He liked the thought of spreading his treasure for the world to see and know him by.
