Personality:
Stubborn - Ozzie believes that when someone makes a decision, they should stick to it. When he decided he wanted to stop discrimination against pokecats(or at least against himself), he kept to his goal until almost to the point of death. It took a completely life changing experience for him to change his mind and stick with the slower-paced lifestyle of a villager. Even now he refuses to see any other life path than the one he picked.
Proud - Humility certainly is rare for Ozzie. He most often takes on challenges he knows he can win, so he never has much of an issue winning. On the occasion that he does something that is beyond his capabilities, he ends up more emotionally hurt than physically. His pride also prevents him from letting his fear take over, most of the time.
(slightly) Paranoid - Since the ordeal with the poisons, Ozzie has been constantly terrified that the same will happen again, and he'll be just as helpless and defenseless as he had been then. As a result, he trains still whenever he can, practicing on tree stumps or even sparring with other pokecats. He doesn't let this prevent him from meeting new pokecats, though, and is generally a lot less afraid and more outgoing if he feels safe.
Adventurous - Though he gave up on social justice, Ozzie still enjoys traveling to new places, and learning what he doesn't know. Usually he finds himself where he shouldn't be and finding out what he shouldn't know. As such, his exploration tendency gets him in trouble if he doesn't run fast enough. Still, the dangers of exploring, while triggering his fears, gives him a powerful adrenaline rush he almost relishes.
Caring - Ozzie doesn't know too many other pokecats, but once he knows you and is your friend even slightly, he will fight to the death to defend you and protect you. The most important thing to Ozzie is his friends and he would even fight himself for them. If someone tries hurting one of his friends in any way, they are going DOWN (.......unlesstheyreapoisontype)
Narcissistic - Ozzie thinks he is the best and refuses to be told wrong. Especially since he became shiny, he adopted the habit of stopping at every water puddle he finds just to stare at his reflection. He is incredibly proud of his appearance and would be very hurt if someone tried telling him he was less than physically perfect. Now he's a grovyle, he's insufferable.

Background info: Ozzie was a wanderer for pretty much his entire life. He spent very little time in the same place, as most of the places he ended up in, pokecats were hated and feared, so he was chased out. Ozzie was sick and tired of being yelled at and attacked by humans, cats, and pokemon everywhere he went, so he began fighting back, and slowly getting stronger. One day he found himself surrounded by several strong poison type pokemon who clearly weren't the type to show any mercy. Type advantage and being outnumbered quickly resulted in Ozzie getting poisoned and knocked out. It's assumed (by Ozzie) that he was saved by another Pokecat, maybe more, who must have been ground types. Whoever they were, they had left behind a pecha scarf and several pecha and oran berries. Seeing them gave Ozzie the inspiration to try and create new remedies from just using berries, but he couldn't do it in the environment he was in. He had no choice but to head for a remote island, occupied by a thriving community of pokecats. Since residing there, Ozzie's health and happiness skyrocketed. Despite the recent floods and fires, burnt paws, and his scarf going missing, Ozzie's increased strength allowed him to evolve. He's considered sending out a search party for his scarf, as he's slowly growing ill without it.

RP example: Ozzie blinked, waking up. His body ached all over. On the ground next to him was a pecha scarf, neatly folded, and a small cluster of pink and blue berries, pecha and oran. He sat up, a bit shakily, and recalled the events of before he woke up. He had gone to challenge a massive group of poison types, to prove his strength to them and himself, and ended up poisoned almost imperceptibly fast. Everything else was a blur... He remembered the ground quaking and loud screeches from the poison types... He remembered seeing a flash of yellow and brown fur, and something else big and bulky and gray. After that... everything was blank. Readjusting to sit more comfortably, Ozzie picked up the scarf and tied it around his neck. This should stop him from being poisoned in the future. Wondering if the poison was still in his system, Ozzie ate a couple pecha berries, and an oran to be sure. He didn't know where to go from here, but he knew he couldn't stay here. The poison types might come back.
