"Well, I can see why so many of the little locals like the beaches here...even with two 'giant monsters' like us stomping around."

Blade Dancer's tone was somewhere between amused and impish. With a contented sigh the armored mare flexed her wings, grinning at the feeling of the balmy sunlight and salty air on her feathers. Her ears flicked, picking up the distant shouts of the little humans on the beach a ways away. Not like we're hard to miss; mountain-sized creatures tend to be eye-catching, ponies or otherwise... Flicking her red mane out of her eyes, the Royal Guard let her wings drop and turned to the younger mare who'd come with her across the portal. "Glad Captain Frost let me come without my helmet... What's your take on this little place, Applejack?"

Applejack could be VERY deadpan when she wanted, Blade had to admit: her normally jovial demeanor hid a talent for sarcasm almost as great as her farming skills.

Thr former was on full display. Applejack's eyelids formed a near-perfectly flat line, and only her country drawl marred the flatness in her voice. "Colonel, Ma'am...as nice as this place is, mah take is that yer only doin' all that posin' tah see if ya can be allurin' ta the 'little locals'. With all due respect, a'course."

She flinched suddenly, and looked down at her hooves with a raised eyebrow. Blade had to fight down a laugh at the annoyed scowl the farmpony cracked then--one of the humans' tiny boats had nicked Applejack's hoof, and judging by the panicked shouts she could just barely pick up as the boat rocketed away from the orange titaness, it WAS an accident, and NOT some dumb idea of a prank.

Maybe.

Blade Dancer chuckled, bringing a hoof to her mouth. "Well it seems to be working," she quipped looking at the gathering crowds of tiny beings over on the beach. Flickers of light--camera flashes--winked in and out among the diastant mob, and Blade Dancer was sure she could see some waving at her.

"And; well, I'd be lying if I said 'Goji' wasn't still on my mind..."

Her thoughts drifted to the kaiju-turned-unicorn back in Equestria--the big, strange stallion had been utterly oblivious to her little teases and hints; even knowing he spent most of his time on THIS world stomping other giant beats, and seeing him in his true form defending Canterlot, she still thought of the big lug of a unicorn first; titanic lizard-beast second.

Applejack snorted, cracking a grin. "Miss Dancer, the guy takes Pinkie's puns fer literal half the time...Ah don't think yer gonna catch his eye with a few winks and shakin' yer rump. That, and he's already got Miss Mothra--she's kinda his special somepony already...or at least as close as two city-eatin' giants can get ta that."

They shared a laugh then, sitting in the seawater that at their scale was barely deep enough to wade in.
...And doubled their laughter when waves were stirred up from their flanks coming down, big enough for a few especially brave and opportunistic humans to try and surf on, despite them sitting down slowly.

"Well," Blade Dancer answered with a smirk, "It's still fun. Let's enjoy the view for a bit longer, then get to business...the littles--I mean, humans--aren't expecting us for another hour, but it pays to be early."
