Beautiful scenery and black and white photo.
Some black and whites just don't have the 'wow' factor. Am glad to say you seem to almost work best in that medium, where you can still punch up the mood in a picture without any colors at all. Very nice.

Yeah I find most b/w very 'muddy' greys. Not so crisp and clean. I always prefer crisp and clean like you have here. It looks far more detailed.
Also instead of looking old fashioned, it looks more gallery like. Which I prefer personally
