I love your pencils. And the way you draw faces. And hands. And...your stuff is just lovely. I just love Perceptor's hands in this, and I adore how much expression you can get into these guys while still making them look like robots. I put in too many curved lines, trying to get expression. I don't know how you do it.

how i did it...i'm pretty sure having actual toy/photo refs were a boon. i was tempted to glean from, say, other fan-artists' renderings of perc (my favorite so far being makotron's [link] ), but...i dunno, i'd feel like i'm stealing from them a bit. and staring at the toy for a while helps me pick 'n' choose details for the pic. the expression...sorta happens with the character, whomever it may be. (but i guess you know that; your sunstreaker always comes out just appealingly right, and i don't see too many curves that hurt your representation of him.)

Oh... absolutely beautiful detail! And I agree with Shades with the whole body language and expression, very... 'feel'. I can feel what they may be feeling just by seeing them. Nicely done!

Heh, very sweet. Really liking the difference in body language between the two characters, like Perceptor's expounding on something serious that Penumbra doesn't like or doesn't want to hear

huh...i hadn't figured that, really, that perc would be addressing/lecturing/boring/embarrassing pen. but i guess that's not impossible. maybe i should've sweatdropped pen.
