Aggghhhh what have I done???!! Lmao this kinda scares me haha! :"DAnyways, yayyyy did another fanart of one of my all time favorite rpg horror games, The Witch's house~ it's so sad
Hopefully it looks scary enough haha man I should've saved this for halloween but it's close enough lol I'll do another piece when that day comes closer X3

What makes it worse, is that she actually KNOWS she can't get her body back, and the main reason she wants to stop Ellen is 'cause she's concerned for her father.

What the Black Cat did in the end of the game confused me tho'. He just devoured Viola's soul. But...
In Diary of Ellen, he said that before he ate Ellen's parents, he was starving and about to die from hunger. So I don't think he would risk starving for gods-know-how-long again, waiting for another candidate.
The way I see it, since Viola had the witch's power, she was under his control. So rather then just devouring her soul, he could have kept her alive ,healed her up (I'm pretty sure that if he can freakin' turn back time, he can do that) and tried to persuade her to be his witch. It would have made more sense to me, plus Viola would actually have a chance in life.
To escape from the demon's clutches would not be easy task though, probably even impossible.

Yeah same. Tbh I like to think that Viola became a resident of the house or maybe became the new witch. Then again the demon would find Viola's soul really tasty because of the way she died right? The feeling of hatred and despair right?

Yeah well only if she hadn't died and wasn't eaten tho but instead like what you said before if the demon had healed her instead and persuaded her to be a witch. Well Ellen's body wasn't really in good condition anyway, Viola would have died either way. The people who got killed their souls got stuck and the house right? Wouldn't that be the same for Viola? The house is somewhat a part of the demon right?

Hmm, from the info that's been provided and confirmed by Fummy, the house is the mainfestation of the Black Cat's magic.
In the Diary of Ellen, Ellen suspected that the demon had the power to heal her sickness for real.
Also, it's confirmed that when Ellen (in Viola's body) died, he reversed time to the last 'save point', because the contract must be fulfilled no matter what. And I'm pretty sure if he can freakin' reverse time, them healing up Ellen's (now Viola') body should be a child's play to him. Also, the witch's life is entirely in the demon's hands, so he could have kept Viola alive even after her dad shot her.
