Description
This is my version of Link.I drew him Senior year of high school, and finally got around to drawing him on the computer.
His clothes have more detail, his sword is fatter and behind his hip, and his shield is up-side down. I will probably do a concept picture later.
I worked hard on this, but it really paid off in the end.

His sword surely must be easier to unsheath from there than from his back! ;-D And the sheath must be easier to keep in place than with the usual diagonal second belt.

yes it is. His shield is back there too, but it is angled in such a way that u can't see it.

Hmm, I really think you did a good job here. Somehow the white background makes his glow...or did you do that yourself? I think he could use a tad more shading on his skin, just to make his face look rounder, but I kind of like the pale color you chose. I have to say, he benefits from the details you added. Makes him look much more authentic.

I made the glow, and the background is white. I did that on purpose to give the illusion that it's glowing.
I need to do a concept drawing of him soon. If you like the detail on him, you'll love his sword and shield.
I always had this idea that Zelda took place either in England, Ireland, and Scotland, or Sweden, Norway, and Finland, so I gave him paler skin.

Huh, I never thought about where the games took place, though England would make sense. It's funny, because in the DS Zelda games young link does have really pale skin, but he gets darker as he gets older. Don't know what that's about.
