A fast upload, since I think my husband is dying to see it posted.

This strip is dedicated to him, because it was him who inspired it. The actual idea was quite different, though it involved Control Rods too. It was very very funny, but I am too lazy and it involved drawing Darkspawn so I changed it. Anyway here's the original idea, let me know what you think:

There's an Awakening's side quest, Solomon's bridge, in which you must decide wether giving a land Howe promised to a lady who helped him in his compiration to her, or to another noble who is by your side. One of the choices is giving it to the lady, and telling him you're going to compensate him. My son chose that in his playthrough and my husband worked this dialog out:
- The Warden: "I'll compensate you with cheap working hands"
- The noble: "Cheap working hands? But there is a shortage of working hands because of the war"
- The Warden: "I'll give you darkspawn"
- The noble: "What!!! No one can control darkspawn"
- The Warden: "Oh, yes, because I'll give you a control rod"
- The noble: "But Control Rods are for golems"
- The Warden: "Oh, you will find them useful, you'll see"

And the last panel would show a field full of darkspawn being hitted by the noble with the control rod until they obeyed.

I thought it would be awful to draw properly and anyway I wanted to stick to Origins stories, so I thought I could change it and involve Shale (yes! More Shale for her fans!!!) and, of course, Zevran.

Oh, and the blond girl with a long braid he comments with Leliana in one of their banters

Now each time I shout at my husband he says "Please, please, don't use the control rod!!!" XD
