Description
This is a extreme close-up of short circuit inside a LCD. A piece of derbies lodged between that large brick and the other component. Poof! Bang! the LCD smoked and left a white dust inside of it. I thought the contrast looked cool.Related content

yes I have... I had several UV LEDs I was playing with and I forgot to add the right resistor on my breadboard... poof!

Nice.
I'm with Paul on that one. An electric fireplace in my house blew up(not literally, but you get the idea) once, thanks to a faulty wire, and the smell does tend to hang around...

it may be that the smelly smoke lands on everything in the room cuz its heavier than regular air lol

cool. but i dont like the smell when those things smoke. the smell seems to hang around forever.

indeed..... made my office smell for a while... thankfully I had some large anti-static bags to put the contaminated parts in... like the whole thing....
