Description
“In all your ways, acknowledge him, and eh will direct your path”. Sometimes, we might forget to credit Jesus in our display of talent. If you hear on Christian radio stations, they might say something like “Less of us, more of HIM”. That is the case with a lot of Bibleman drawings I have done. They may not be blown out of proportion, but the evangelistic superhero being the central focus does seem… well, I’ll talk about “Shattering the Prince of Pride” (2000).
In that episode, a young kid (maybe 11 or 12) is illustrating a Bibleman newspaper comic-strip for whatever official paper Schatzville has. However, when another kid desires to aid him, he rejects his help. But the bigger issue is, is that his drawings of Bibleman make him larger than life. I haven’t really done something like that, but I should use that as a reminder to not make a ultra BibleGiantRobotMech, that is 10 times bigger than Jupiter. So, I decided to make a picture where God is bigger than Bibleman.
For this art, i had to take a picture of my right hand to use for reference. I felt a bit weird about that, but mom told me that we are created in God’s image, so I shouldn’t feel like a criminal. That also reminds a story of The Last Supper. Leonardo di Vinci placed his face on Jesus Christ’s head, and had the face of his rival upon Judas Iscariot. However, he then switched the faces around. I have only heard this story on the radio, but I am sure the pastor did his homework. In my head, Bibleman/Miles Peterson appeared small, but this size is perfect. And there was going to be more white… especially on the hand. But, it isn’t really that bad.
I hope you all, and you holy trinity, love and feel blessed by this artwork. More art can be seen at the , although most of it can be seen in my gallery as well. Oh well… other Christian or Bible themed artwork can be seen in my gallery as well. Art by Noah / I’ll draw it because no one else will.

Oh hey, it's the Master Hand behind him! I guess this means Bibleman is confirmed as a DLC for Super Smash Brothers for Wii U...
... a DLC I'm sure as hell not buying. Then again, I'm not really buying any DLC, as far as I'm concerned. I'm getting the MewTwo DLC absolutely free, since I have the exclusive code for it...

If he was a DLC, I would totally be like SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

However, he would be a bit out of place.... personally, I have hopes for Pepper (Lego Island), Wreck-it Ralph, and other characters for future installments.,
(Thanks)

Well, in the very least, you could make him yourself in the Mii Fighter creation area. There's options to make your Mii Fighter either a swordsman, a gunner, or a brawler (fist fighter). Their movesets can be customized too, and sometimes even prove more powerful than most of the characters on the actual roster!

Don't worry, when I was drawing a guy saluting I'd look in the mirror and gave a salute. I looked and felt weird but that's part of being an artist.

Although I never meant for Bibleman to appear cute.

It's probably just me, I find the weirdest of things cute as opposed to other people.

From the few episodes of Bibleman I have seen, there has been always one thing about his design that, IDK why, irks me.
His suit is based on the Armor of God, right? then why don't they have the Shield of Faith as a weapon? They just slapped it on as part of his suit. The Shield of Faith is a defensive weapon, the one thing that defends us from the devil's arrows. They dropped that in favor of just having a lightsaber based Sword of the Spirit as an offensive/defensive weapon.

Well, in a flashback in "Big Big Book" he had a regular sword and a shield (that looks like the Sparrow logo in the opening credits). I don't know why it just became his arm-armor of faith, but his suit is still pretty cool (well, his first three suits. The silver one seems a bit too much, while the Powersource one... Well, PS isn't my favourite BM series). And I do like the lightsaber, which does have a holyness to it since it is yellow and light.

I've been actually tempted to draw my own take on Bibleman, based on the type of soldier that inspired Paul to write of the Armor of God

OH PLEASE I mean.. Uh.. Sorry, I get eager and happy when someone else besides this dude named SonicClone draws Bibleman.. since almost all of half of the 140-something Bibleman pictures are done by m.. I mean, him.
