This is the first picture in a project which I call ‘’Super Mario Bros Meet the Movie’’. It is when characters from the long-running Mario video game franchise (Since 1981) meet their counterparts from the 1993 summer action thrill-ride ‘’Super Mario Bros: The Movie’’.
To start the series off, let us begin with the title character of the entire Mario series, Mario.

Mario: Mario is loved the world over and has the popularity of Mickey-Mouse, Bat-ManAndRobin, TheCatintheHat, and other famous mascots and characters. There is so much to love about this little guy. His voice, his personality, and courage, his nobleness, and so much more to his unique character. Mario has been portrayed and voiced by many men, but the most
famous of them all is his current voice actor, Charles Martinet.

Mario Mario: Bob Hoskins says that the movie was the worst thing he ever did! I understand the problems on set, but is there no way to see past that? Hoskins brings Mario to life in an amazing new way. His acting is incredible as well, making his performance praised by critics. I am glad that he replaced Danny DeVito (although Danny is a good actor. But Bob is the plumber for the job)

The art: I drew the characters and backgrounds separately and GIMPED them all together. Since I am not a GIMP master, I drew black around the characters so that there would be no white edges. I hope to do better next time.
