I need a place to host the description of my FC, so this old Deviation will do for now.

By the way, Mary Sue is Mary Sue, just to warn you.

OH, and I found a 'universal Sonic FC bio' thing on the 'net, and I used that. And, uh, yeah. If you want the brief description, skip to the bio/history/whatever. That's the important part.

Type: She really doesn’t fall into a category. If I had to pick one, probably speed. She’s pretty good at picking up new skills, so she’d probably figure out how to ride an extreme gear decently in a practical amount of time.
Running Type: Probably endurance.
Affiliation: Hero/G. U. N.
Teammates: Team Dark (see explanation below.)
Weapons/Items: She has a portable computer she keeps on her head. It works sort of like the scouters from DBZ. When she works with G. U. N, she has a communicator. Eventually, she finds a way to work her portable computer to her communicator.

Personality
When she was a child, she was curious and fun loving. She’d often sneak around the ARK, finding ways to get into trouble if something couldn’t keep her interest for long. For this reason, the Professor always kept her around, and answered any questions she had. Like him, she had a thirst for knowledge he was happy to fulfill.

After the incident on the ARK, she was taken to Prison Island where she became an experimental subject because they did not believe Gerald when he said that she was failed experiment at creating yet another ultimate life form. She taught herself to repress her emotions so she wouldn’t experience fear like she did.

Now, with Sonic and the others, she isn’t emotionless, but she ignores fear in all forms, to the point that it’s her one weakness. Part of her old personality still stayed; she is cunning and a clever planner, both at pranks and elaborate plans. She is a skilled computer technician, often hacking into government data bases and Eggman’s own computer files for fun.

She likes fun, but she’ll never show it. Overall, she’s mostly antisocial.

History
She grew up on the ARK where she was created. She was supposed to be a host for the antibody to the NIDS virus, but there were complications to her creation. The strain of the virus mutated within her body. It’s dormant and mostly harmless, but that means the antibodies she was supposed to produce were completely useless.

Since she was not created as an artificial life form (she was really the result of crossing and manipulating both living and dead DNA) like Shadow, she wasn’t created as an immortal being, or the “ultimate life form.” She grew and aged like a ‘normal’ hedgehog. Her existence was kept a secret from G. U. N. She was, after all, a personal project created by Professor Gerald to find a cure for NIDS.

Perhaps because a small part of her DNA comes from Maria (in order to be a proper host for the NIDS virus) and thus from a member of the Robotnik family, she seemed to have a thirst for learning and was always curious about everything around her. The professor essentially took her under his wing, though she was close with Shadow and Maria as well.

When G. U. N. raided the ARK, they kidnapped Ivory. When they found out about the mutant/dormant strain of NIDS she carried, they began performing both physical and neurological tests on her, testing her both mentally and physically. The pain and torment that the doctors (unwillingly) caused her eventually led her to develop a ‘shield’ around certain emotions, afraid of releasing them.
Due to unknown circumstances*, she was spirited 50 years later in a random location, where she met Sonic and the gang. She met them and befriended them, and slowly began to realize that not everyone in the world was an evil jerk. After Shadow made his appearance, Ivory disappeared from her major group of friends. She just couldn’t believe that Shadow, who was her only family, would descend to darkness as he had, and cause so much pain and destruction both to her and to the world. After stealing all of Gerald’s personal research data from the ARK’s computer (at least, the half that Rouge didn’t get to before Ivory did) she decided to study his research notes and try to understand how such a kind man who wanted only good for the world could come up with the dastardly plan that he did. She journeyed around the globe, investigating many of the same places he did. Little did she know that her travels would lead her to bump into Sonic and Co. again, and be dragged on an adventure where she’s foced to come to terms with her own past.

Relationships

Sonic: Ivory’s first friend. She trusts him and cares about him more than anyone—though she’ll never show it. (NOTE: SHE IS NOT PAIRED WITH HIM. THEY ARE NOT DATING. THEY DO NOT GET MARRIED. IVORY HAS FEELINGS FOR HIM THAT ARE NOT RECIPROCATED. SHE IS NOT THAT KIND OF FAN CHARACTER.)

Knuckles: She doesn’t know him that well, but finds is guillible personality rather amusing. Whenever the two are together, he’s often the target of her jokes. She never lets him live down the fact that under his watchful guard, the Master Emerald has been shattered and stolen… twice.

Tails: She finds Tails adorable, and sees herself in him. She has a soft spot for him, and enjoys his company if he happens to be around.

Amy: She never really got to know Amy, so she can’t hate or like her. Though she won’t admit it, she’s wary of the competition for Sonic’s heart. Not that she’s admitted that to herself, though.

Cream:
She doesn’t know Cream that well. She doesn’t not like her, and for the most part Ivory doesn’t mind her company, but the two aren’t that close, either.

Shadow:
Oh, where do I begin?

Ivory was also a creation by Prof. Gerald on the ARK. She was close to him, Maria, and the Professor. The two were siblings, and Shadow agreed to look out for Ivory. At first, he wasn’t crazy about having her around, but she grew on him in time.

After the events of the G. U. N. raid, Ivory was hurt that Shadow didn’t recognize her and tried to destroy the world. After his ‘sacrifice,’ Ivory was left feeling lost and confused, and that was when she began to stray from the group. When Shadow came back with amnesia and, in his confusion from being pulled by may sides, would go back and forth between saving the world and trying to conquer it (or, worse, let it fall to ruin) she decided to cut all ties with Shadow and view him as an enemy.

Certain events brought Shadow back to her life after he regained his memory*. During that time, Ivory began to learn that her hatred towards him was just her own fears projected on to the fear of losing him (and her new friends) and going through the pain of loss that the two had already gone through. Realizing that both she and Shadow had done things to each other that they weren’t proud of, Ivory agreed to put the bad memories behind her and work toward a more positive future with her brother.

After these events, Team Dark and the rest of G. U. N. saw her talent with intelligence, computer skills, and all around cleverness. Though she was uneasy about joining the same group that had torn her life apart years ago, she agreed to join G. U. N. as a member of Team Dark to prevent any future tradgedies, and continue to work to make the world a better place.

Rouge:
She didn’t really know Rouge until recently, but the two get along surprisingly well. Ivory learned that the two had more in common than they thought, and she’s happy to spend time with Rouge.

Omega:
The relationship between Ivory and Omega is a rather… interesting one. Omega didn’t like Ivory when she first joined, and Ivory was frustrated that Omega wouldn’t cooperate with her. In time, the two became inseperable during missions. Their personalities just seemed to click.

Maria:
Sort of like how Ivory considers Shadow her brother, she considers Maria like an older sister. Though she wasn’t with her when it happened, she was devastated to learn about the loss of Maria.

Gerald Robotnik:
Much like how Shadow and Maria were close, Ivory and Gerald had their own special relationship. Gerald raised Ivory like one of his own family, even if she was a ‘failed experiment.’ Gerald promised Ivory that when she was older he would bring her to Earth with him to resume his travels and studying of ancient cultures, and to help find a cure for Maria.

Ivory couldn’t believe that such a kind, generous man could turn into a genocidal maniac. Even though she knows and accepts the truth now, she always remembers Gerald fondly.

Whenever she refers to her “father” or her “sister,” she is referring to Gerald and Maria respectively. In fear of repeating the past, she keeps her past a secret from others.

Eggman:
If Ivory wasn’t such good friends with Sonic, she would probably be hanging around Eggman. After all, he bears such a strong resemblance to his grandfather. Because of that, Ivory finds it hard to truly hate Eggman, but she does enjoy annoying him by thwarting his plans. Whenever she joins Sonic and Co. to take down Eggman, it’s usually for the fun of it, and the joy of seeing him squirm. Oh, and to save the world from total domination, of course.

*These events will be explained in a fanfic I’m working on. I promise that these aren’t just plotholes. They will be addressed and expressed in full detail.
