Description (Story written by lizardman22 )
Lady Periwinkle and Sadako Screens made their way through the convention, enjoying the sights and sounds around them. Periodically they were stopped, other conventioneers asking for their photographs. Sadako blushed brightly, the attentions from so many overwhelming her slightly. She glanced across at Peri, marveling at how the princess was taking it all in her stride.
"I don't know how you do it?" Sadako whispered to her friend. "All this attention is incredible."
Peri chuckled.
"One gets used to it, being of the Royal Family."
Sadako smiled back.
"Well we screen lizards are more used to remaining hidden."
Peri gave her friend a kind glance, patting Sadako's arm gently.
"Let's go and rest then," she said. "We can sit in on one of the guests giving their panel talks."
Sadako nodded, please to have a chance to take a break. Together the pair made their way towards Sections B - D in the hall, looking to see which guest was presently on the many stages. As they walked, the young screen lizard let out a gasp of surprise, her eyes catching two figures snaking their way through the crowds.
"Peri, look!"
The whiptail paused, peering in the direction Sadako pointed eagerly. In the distance a pair of dragons, one black and one white, slipped happily through the throngs of people.
"Those costumes are amazing," Sadako continued. "They look just like the main characters from Black and White."
She smiled at the princess, taking her arm as she lead her friend towards the cosplayers.
"My cousin, Xavier, loves that cartoon. I just have to get a photo of them for him."

"Excuse me? Excuse me? 'Black' and 'White'? Can I please get your picture?"
Black and White stopped in their tracks and looked up as the voice called out, spotting a phone and Egyptian princess hurry over towards them. The phone held a camera in her hands, and bowed slightly as she spoke again.
"You're costumes are really good. May I get a photo of them?"
The white dragon frowned slightly as he studied the Egyptian princess.
"Peri?" he said. "Hey, it is you. I didn't know you were Egyptian."
Peri blinked, surprised to have been recognized.
"I, uh, I am not Egyptian," she said. "This is just a costume."
"Sounds like she's in de-Nile" the black dragon joked.
The princess looked harder at the pair, a smile crossing her lips as she realized just who the dragons were. She turned to Sadako, eager to share the information.
"Lady Sadako," she said, "your cousin will be even more amazed at your luck. These aren't costumes. This is the real Black and White!"
She looked over at the dragon brothers, stepping forward to shake their hands in greeting.
"It is so good to see you again, Sirs. It has been far to long since you last visited."
Sadako's jaw dropped.
"You know Black and White? But, I thought they were just cartoons?"
"We are just cartoons," the black dragon said.
"But don't tell anyone," added the white, placing a finger conspiratorially to his lips.
Peri giggled and motioned for Sadako to come closer.
"It is a long story, My Lady," Peri said. "Truth be told, I'm not really sure how best to explain it myself."
Sadako bowed again, deeper out of respect.
"It is an honour to meet you both in person."
The dragons beamed happily.
"So," the black dragon said, taking Sadako's camera and inspecting it. "Do you really like our costumes?"
Peri and Sadako exchanged a curious look.
"What costumes?" Peri asked.
Black and White struck a heroic pose.
"These costumes," the white one replied. "I'm Black!"
"And I'm White!" the black one added. "we dressed as each other."
"Well there's no reason to be negative about it, White,"  Black said, unable to resist the pun.
They laughed, snapping a selfie of themselves.

Peri and Sadako waved goodbye as they parted from the dragon brothers. For the last hour they had been subjected to the brother's trademark humour and wit, the experience cementing Sadako as a fan just like her cousin. Black and White had happily granted the young screen lizard multiple photos, and even autographed her costume, while Peri organized for Black and White to give a surprise visit to Xavier. Sadako smiled, nudging her friend.
"Why did you never tell me you knew Black and White?" she asked the princess.
Peri chuckled.
"Why did you not tell me how big a fan of them your cousin was?"
Sadako grinned and nodded.
"Point taken," she replied.
Together the pair made their way towards the food court, their growling stomachs suggesting they pass up the guest talks in favour for food. It had been a wonderful convention so far, and they still had the better part of a day to go...

So, funny story.  One day I just got the urge to draw in me, and this picture came out of it.  I've never drawn this many characters in one scene before.  Nor has 22 ever written a collab story this long.

I need to get urges more often.  I've got a few more ideas worth drawing.

Do you think I'd draw like this if I drew for quality?

Well, we're all our own harshest critics.  (Were you the one who told me that?  No, I think it was Tmaneea .)

I think it was tamaneea, you know you don't have to be a hard critic on yourself if you dont want too. you can just, accept yourself as you are anytime you feel like it.  ^_^

It's a dangerous thing to do, though.  By setting the bar so low for yourself, you discourage yourself from improving-- and what then?

I think everything is a balance, I cant name one thing that won't kill you if you have too much of it.
