For the A World In Ruins (AWIR) AU.

NOTE: The AU's name was originally my friend Liz's ( ) for an AU of hers that she have since then canceled, and I have asked her permission to use it, because I absolutely loved it so much, it was perfect.

THESE ARE CONCEPT RESEARCHES, THERE MIGHT/WILL BE MODIFICATIONS IN THE FUTURE (need to make full 'references' of each individiual, too).

A few informtation about AWIR CCs:

-Everyone is four years older: Rouge is 22 years old, Knuckles, Sonic and Shadow are 19 years old, and Silver is 18 years old.

-Knuckles is the Commander of the Resistance, and the others are aslo considered as Leaders of the Resistance.

-Shadow, Sonic and Silver kept their original gear (shoes/boots and gloves), but Knuckles and Rouge did adopted the 'official' clothing of the Resistance (boots and gloves). -> I have updated Shadow's jacket, it is not grey anymore www.deviantart.com/soniclifeti… .

-Rouge wears a customized jumpsuit, as a dress wouldn't have been a good idea regarding her fighting style.

-I'll tell more information about the characters on individual sketches/'references.'

Concepts information:

-This AU will be based off from the Sonic Forces universe (with obvious changes).

-Contains the theme of war, so the characters will have grown up personality wise, and might be acting differently from what you're used to see.

-I have used information from a site web about the Resistance to design the clothing. sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Resistan…

-The 'double star' symbol on the boys' jackets is the Resistance's symbol (with a slight modification to it), for those of you which didn't know about it. ->  -> The leaders of the Resistance are identified/differenciated from the other members by the little star's coloration, which is the same as their eyes color. -> Rouge's Resistance symbol is replaced with the buckle star on her buckle.

-This Au will definitely contain more mature content.

-I will reveal and tell more about it when I post a complete 'colored sketch/reference' of Krystal in that AU.

I am really proud of how everyone's designs came out, here. The colors were tricky for some to chose, as I wanted to either stick to their iconic colors or to fit the character, and I have made sure to consult my friends who knows the character a bit better than I do for additional advice.

NOTES:

-My friend friend Jazz ( ) helped me with the Resistance's uniforms, and added more details to the basic 'dress' design I had made, and I loved them so much that I decided to add them officially.

My original design:  / Jazz's additions + male uniforms ideas:

-My friend Alice ( ) suggested that Rouge wore dark purple, as darker colors always looked good on her.

-My friends Rebecca ( ) and Jazz ( ) suggested that Shadow, Sonic and Silver would keep their original shoes/boots and gloves, which turned out to be a great idea. <3

Hopefully I can come up with more sketches/concepts soon! (And a complete 'colored sketch/reference' of my girl Krystal in that AU. )
