It started with me only wanting to think about concepts and design/redesign characters and sketch them out, so here's a little update on my most recent 'project': redesigning the early prototypes of Silver, Shadow, and Sonic. They respectively are Venice, Terios, and Maurice (aka 'Mr. Needlemouse', I just renamed him Maurice).

I came up with perfect designs for Venice and Terios basically on the first try, although my friends and helped me a great deal with Terios' gear and ideas for his backstory.

I also decided to sort of keep the original boots and gloves for Venice, but with a slight modification because I struggle drawing so many things on gloves and boots. XD

So, let's find out about Venice and Terios!

Venice the Mink:

-Have psychokinesis.

-Very skilled fighter.

-Is from Sonic's era.

-Roughly is 17 years old (and his age will also depend on the AU that he is in).

-Was bullied as a child by other children and adults, because of his psychokinesis abilities, which are considered to be an oddity in Sonic's time. This forced him to learn self-defense quickly, and to also grow up rather quickly. He have a hard time trusting anyone, something that he shares with Terios.

-Deep down, just wants to be respected and loved for what he is, but hides this under his cold demeanor and fierce warrior skills. He hides his sensitivity in order to not being tricked and used, but even this do not prevent him from being manipulated.

-Silver's rival!

Terios the Tenrec:

-Have similar powers and abilities to Shadow's.

-Also nown as Project Terios.

-Very great and skilled fighter.

-Is roughly 25 years old genetically and biologically (about 10 years older than Shadow, so)(and his age will also depend on the AU that he is in).

-Created by Doctor Gerald Robotnik, Dr Ivo Robotnik (Eggman)'s grandfather.

-Created around the same time as Shadow was created, but clearly is a bit older genetically/biologically.

-Created with Black Doom's DNA and a female mobian Tenrec egg (where Shadow was created with the use of a female mobian Hedgehog egg). He was created soon after the Biolizard was considered a huge failure and put into stasis, so he is therefore the second attemp at creating a perfect soldier, the Ultimate Lifeform.

-Showed promise at first, but soon turned out to have unstable abilities and powers, therefore he was considered dangerous and a failure. He was put into stasis before Shadow was even created.

-Is familiar with the emotions and feelings of fear, sadness, rejection, pain, frustration/anger, rage, wariness and distrust, but not the rest of them. Will get confused and question what he is feeling, and why it feels this way.

-Gained his scar after a training incident.

-Deep down, just wants to be treated as a living breathing being, be respected and loved for what he is, and stop being used for his awkward to zero knowledge about how life works.

-Might sound harsh and cold, but does not know better, as it is the only thing that actually kept him alive. Might be a little shy around a girl he finds attractive, though he would not understand why on the moment. He have a hard time trusting anyone, something that he shares with Venice.

-Shadow's rival!

Both would originally be 'vilains' given their backround stories, but they are redeemable and they will be redeemed, although I think they would retain their rivalries with Silver and Shadow.

PS: I'm planning on making them girls, I won't leave them loveless. X'D (I can't help it!)
