Sonic officially has FOUR higher forms now, and they all have something to rant about -- except Dark Super Sonic. XD He thinks he's the hottest thing since chilli peppers, with his "lethal powers of sexyness."But now the list includes:
Good ol' Super Sonic, who is WAY underrated ¬¬
Hyper Sonic
Dark Super Sonic
And with the release of Sonic and the Secret Rings, "Darkspine," with his funky stripes.
Holy crap, Sonic is developing multiple personality syndrome. o_o

OMG! There was a HYPER Sonic!?!?! lol, sry, i'm not a fan of sonic, i don't know much of it... heck, i didn't even know there was a dark and a darkspine sonic... and I played Secret Rings... well I got stuck actually... i never seem to beat those games...

Allow me to explain:
Super's first apperance: Sonic 2
Hyper: Sonic 3 and Knuckles (only apperance)
Dark: Sonic X (tv show) (only)
and Darkspine: Secret Rings (only)
plus you got this new "Werehog Sonic" from Sonic Unleased, Sonic turns into him at night in the [new] game.
Oh, and plus there's: Ultra Sonic, Solar Sonic, Eco Sonic, Polar Sonic (from the Archie comics) and there's Fleetway Super Sonic (from the UK comics).

it is possible to get dark super sonic in the first 3 sonic games all you need is a cheat tool.

i had to look up the cheat and buy a cheat tool it is also possible to use the cheat tool to play as hyper sonic in sonic 2

i see, my brother just goes online to look at cheats and shorcuts to beat the game faster (just like the zelda games, excep the really old ones, those are like, push the rock to get to the next level)

i go on gamefaqs and lookup shortcuts. I don't even remember where i got the cheats for the old sonic games it was just a random search and i was bored

Yes I agree. Sonic for some unknown reason does not see just how powerful his "DARK" side is. In my opinion his dark form is his most powerful. Woah, it's Star Wars all of a sudden.

Hyper Sonic is more powerful than Super Sonic, because all of his powers are doubled. Dark Super Sonic is basically Super Sonic, except full of dark energy (I don't care for that, but yeah...). And Darkspine? I dunno, he was just a random Super Form seen only in Sonic and the Secret Rings. It was because he used the power of the seven Rings instead of the seven Chaos Emeralds.

Darkspine is from Secret Rings. Sonic turns into him after accidently absorbing the power of 4 out of the 7 World Rings. His personality is a little different from Dark Super's. Darkspine kinda shows more of Sonic's personal thoughts, such as "If this is your world, then it's a world I don't want ant part of!" or "You're finished Erazor! Next time: Try writing a better story!". Dark Super is more of Sonic's anger, period.
Here's another difference: Unlike Sonic's other forms, Darkspine mainly revolves around kicks and punches, and unlike the others Sonic CAN get damaged.
