Sonic officially has FOUR higher forms now, and they all have something to rant about -- except Dark Super Sonic. XD He thinks he's the hottest thing since chilli peppers, with his "lethal powers of sexyness."But now the list includes:
Good ol' Super Sonic, who is WAY underrated ¬¬
Hyper Sonic
Dark Super Sonic
And with the release of Sonic and the Secret Rings, "Darkspine," with his funky stripes.
Holy crap, Sonic is developing multiple personality syndrome. o_o

I remember I fell in love with Darkspine. ...Mostly his badass voice though, yes ... and the weird thing ... same with Dark Super Sonic ... I love them both!

Yeah, Darkspine does look tribal, but I think it fits the theme of Secret Rings so I let it slide. Super Sonic underrated? How so? "Rainbow colours!" As Ron Weasly said in Sonic Movie Madness, "He's hyper alright!" "Lethal powers of sexiness"? In the japanese version, maybe.

yeah it would have been pretty awesome if they had added Hyper Sonic in Sonic X instead of Dark Super Sonic although this form is pretty cool and it appeared for 2 minutes. They should stop making more forms and in my opinion they should also stop making so many characters

Darkspine's coloration scheme and stripes reminded me of either
1.) A funky colored race car
or
2.) A bad sneaker design.
Can't say I was too fond of the newest one *sweat drop* I would like to see more dark Sonic though... and not because of his lethal powers of sexiness. I was rather intrigued by the fact of what happened to Sonic when he used the power of chaos to transform while consumed by hate. Normally Super Sonic occurs when Sonic is in one of his 'I'm having a blast in this fight!', quirky moods, or when he needs it for unselfish reasons. Dark Sonic seemed be spawned because the chaos emeralds where feeding off of his nagitive, selfish emotions. That was the first time I had ever seen Sonic transform due to his feelings of hate and rage, but it is certianly not the first time I have seen just how powerful and scary Sonic's pure hate can make him.

Darkspine is awesome...even if he does look a bit odd, he looks rather dark, despite the white, and his powers are cool. I hope he makes another appearance.

Which makes it more of a believable thing. The fact that you can in fact die as Darkspine makes the game more challenging. In the others it's basically once you go super the game is just hack-n-slash to the end.
For example, in Sonic Adventure there's not much to it. Run headlong into the enemy a few times and you win.
Oh and just so you know, you can die with the other forms by running out of rings, because most of the forms occur in a place where the environment causes death to normal people, such as lots of water or space, and one time even a temporal rift.
And besides, I posted that message months ago, why bring it up now?

Well then maybe you're just lame. Most videos I see have people beat Erazer in like a minute.
Look final bosses are supposed to be hard. Simply because final bosses are usually really overpowered superfreaks out to prevent you from stopping their evil plans. And because having an easy final boss makes the end of a game lame. Lots of people play for a challenge.

I do think the stripes on Darkspine a little odd...but I personally like the way he fights in that boss battle. He just laid into Alf-Layla- what's-his-face like a hammer lol.
