I tried to draw Sally in SATAM Style, man its so hard. DxI WAS suspicious of alot of the Sonic boom clips when they changed Amys personality.

I`m not complaining, I havent seen the show yet but her personality has been reminding me of SATAM Sally so I just kinda giggled to myself abit

Going by the first few episodes, she's definitely "Sally in hedgehog form." Slightly more ladylike, slightly more endearing, but still Sally-like enough (especially on the "smug, snarky, aloof" count) to come across as missing the point of the character.
I wish I had never even PRETEND to have a problem with Sonic dating non-hedgehogs. (Not sure why I ever did; guess I thought it was really about siding with the game developers over the comic writers, but honestly, it couldn't have even been that as I didn't mind Mina; ie. Amy in non-hedgehog form; as much as Sally either.)

In the first season they constantly changed Amy's personality so that people couldn't say that she was a Sally rip off,but in season 2 she is CLEARLY a flanderazed Sally or at least a jerk Sally,yet people like her since she looks like Amy,and hate Sally that is a nice girl!
Heck,in episode 4 of season 2 ,Amy is fine with Sonic being hurt and having BROKEN RIBS and only cares gor her skates!
Even in her worst writing,Sally CARED about Sonic!
But people only care about Sonic being with Amy, even if it doesn't make sense!

Amy as the brains may benefit her as a character. Frankly, I was getting sick of her becoming more and more a standard stalker with a crush.
Although I hope they don't go too far with it. Like, she can be the brains when it comes to strategy and planning, but Tails can still be the tech guy

I dont see amy as the brain or a leader to be honest. Sonic s the main leader and Tails is the one with the brains, plus her hammer strenght makes her even with knuckles now. So now I see her as all three boys combined.

I find it okay if her contribution is a strategic mind. Tails is smart but he typically doesn't make strategy. He's mechanic brains. And Sonic may be the leader, but he doesn't hit me as a long term planner. and if he was the planner, and Tails is the brains, and Knuckles is the muscle, what should Amy be? Just there so the game doesn't get called sexist?

Everything changes from time to time, changes were made in the old American Sonic cartoons, t all changed since SA, they change things on many games after that(I mean take sonic 06 for an example), many things changed on Sonic X... (Heck I strongly believe Sonic doesn't even have a canon anymore)
Are you honestly surprised that this has changed things? Sure it may be similar but I can't really say this is a Sally ripoff. Heck I'm pretty sure Amy's carnation here will differ a lot from Sally. Not saying Amy is better or anything, but everyone is overreacting. I highly doubt that they may introduce Sally, but if they do they'll probably expand her character more than just Sonic's love interest. (I'm not even sure if the creators even heard of Sonic SatAM before).
I feel like I'm the only one who actually loves the concept of Amy here, they really toned her down a bit. I'm pretty relieved it never mentioned her crushing on Sonic and even the gameplay she seems neutral to him. I'm so sorry, I just always wanted Amy to be more improved for so long now. This is like the same reaction when everyone bitched about Sally Acorn's new design and claim she ripped off Amy. I really don't get it, I just don't.

I dont belive in canons any more. I`ll just go with it if the couple makes scene to me while I`ll respect thoughs who like the pairing
Its not that I`m surprised I just found it odd that Amy would take a personality from my fav character but she not the only one, blaze did too but she doesnt do the whole mother bond with tails or is the leader. Sonic is, but they both would do anything to defend there world. No no I understand from your point of view with Amy. ^^
To be honest I dont want Sally to be Sonics girlfriend at all if she ever appeared in Sonic boom. Sonics not sappost to have a girl friend in the games anymore. Meh probably not , but the funniest thing is the guy who created Sonic Boom was the creator of Tiara Boobwaski. A girl Character that he made while working in Japan was originally sappost to be sonic girlfriend but the game she was in got canceled because of a war between nintindo and SEGA.

Nah its okay, I understand your point of view on Amys new character. I judt find it wierd that people would hate Sally (Which I can understand) Even SATAm because of her character. But I find it wierd that Amy will now have Sally personality and people will still love her for it when shes probably just another version of Sally so I`m kinda like, uuummmm........what?

Well it wouldn't matter if sally doesnt appear in the show/Games. Comparing to every one thinking Sallys a mary-sue. Putting her traits on Amy will MAKE Amy a mary sue xD
Well that would be cool if the freedom fighters were in Sonic boom, they were made in america so I though why not
