i’m going through some hard times right now.
A majority of my sketches involve holding my precious babies that must be protected at all cost
I think i'm also going through a phase of my life because i'm an adult now and I kinda hafta let go but I really can't.

So I'm guessing every Steven Universe feels this way, I know I certainly do. Oh and by the way, I'm 24 years old and full of Sap so even the smallest thing (especially anything involving Rose & Greg) can send me spiraling into tears and guess what I'm proud of it. Heck typing this comment made me shed a tear because I'm hoping I can reach out brighten your day and make you feel like your not alone in the way that you feel. Your human and crying is part of being just that, never be ashamed of it.

I'm only alone when watching the show since no one else in the house really watches it as religiously as I do xD.
Thank you for your kind words, Steven Universe is an emotional show, it isn't a random cartoon, it brings in emotions could be or could have been felt by children or older.
Some episodes have made me bawl my eyes out because of the memories it brought, and being able to capture emotions like that on a children's show is incredible in my opinion because it also shows the HUGE responsibilities one has not only as a crystal gem, but caring for a half human-gem and a half human-gem trying to learn and understand a huge and old culture that is his heritage.

For a show that a lot of people think is meant for children it sure has a rich backstory that's surface hasn't even begun to be scratched. Yeah, it's also able to deal with sensitive real world topics such as gender politics while simultaneously keeping it's childhood innocence. The show is really meant for everyone, not just for children and I think that's one of the reasons that makes the show so great. You're very welcome, I hope the remainder of your day/night is filled with joy.

certainly! Steven Universe is a show about a young boy with mysterious magical gem powers and these magical gem ladies who call themselves the crystal gems. The story itself mostly revolve around steven's adventures with his magic gems and the crystal gems.
It's a really cute show up to the point it gets deeper into the story.
It's a really good show I love it!

I just fear about being looked at weird for still drawing "kid stuff" but I can't help it, the kids stuff was made by adults and it's good!
