Charlie e was scared. He had lost several more of his friends to the infection, no longer having anyone to turn to... And with Crona's threat looming over everyone's shoulders... He has never felt so alone and helpless, and despite how hard he's worked-- how much he tried to keep from failing--, he couldn't fight back.
But as he soon discovered... Milk couldn't either. Milk was tired... He had suffered through so much, and just wanted to end it all.
No matter how terrified he was, Charlie couldn't be alone anymore; couldn't fight alone anymore, now that the stakes are higher than ever... This was his chance to get his partner back.
