Meep, I had fun with this. Though to be honest, the request in general wasn't very specific (though that's pretty normal, I guess); I was requested to draw Klonoa in either just a random position or to have 'im being a show-off and have him throw off his clothes, 'cause he doesn't need 'em (which, for the most part, I would agree). But in the end I decided to mix the request up a little and put it in my point of view. To speak truth, I'm jealous of that hat, and I bet when it comes to getting rid of it Klo is very stubborn. -w-Also, this is somewhat a little thing that I wanted to do after I saw Klonoa's English design. I mean, it's not bad, but there's one thing that outrages me; he is lacking the hat he is very well-known for. I mean, the ears aren't bad- in fact, when I saw 'em, they reminded me of Sketch's ears- but the fact that he's missing his Pac-man hat purely bugs me. XP But whatever. I'm not Bandi. For whatever reason they changed Klo's looks at all I cannot judged 'em. -w-
So yea, hope ya'all like this! Enjoy the cute little cabbit that is Klonoa!

Heh heh, ah yes, the hat. You definitely can't get rid of the hat...well, maybe he can temporarily (along with everything else) when he's fighting an intense battle with someone, but when he's just staying idle in normal or Super form, yeah, the hat stays on.
Regarding the redesign, btw, pretty much everyone hated how his ears were different... I believe that was the only time all of us Klonoa fans were united, really, 'cause every other time and just like any other fanbase, we were split. And I guess it doesn't help that I was the one most vocal about my preference of him being unclothed and that he needs a crossover with Sonic...

Yea, I'm not too surprised about everyone not liking the ears for the English design. But as I said, it's not bad, but like I didn't say, it does throw me off. I mean, I'm used to those big, fluffy rabbit ears, and then they changed it to those shorter, cat-like ears. It's not like they changed Sonic in any way; even his classic form and modern form don't have a significant difference! But then again, I'm not one for judging anything unless it truly needs judging, so... I have to say I don't all-out mind, just as long as they don't get rid of the true Klonoa we all love and know. -w-
And yes, I would agree he doesn't need clothes. Of course, that doesn't mean that I can't draw him with 'em... X3
