I had planned on really scrubbing this clean and making the picture colored, but I just want to post it. So I grayscaled it, so you can kind of see the blue pencil lines still lingering on the page, be it in a fashionable grey.I've spent a looong time etching in little details and the like. Including writing a wee fanfic to go with it. One that is yet to be finished xD
But, yeah, here is more of Bentley and Penelope's wedding. Sly was somehow able to attend. So shh.

All of the pics look great. But the Guru's beard jewelry is my favorite part.
Also, who is the person giving Murray a smooch in the upper-left photo? Is it someone from the Sly series or a character you made up?

Ffft, hey, I've been working on this for awhile, so I'm not surprised I got it up first xD
I figured it's Sly trying to keep something from his friends whilst still living with Carmelita. So, definitely for some kind of scrap book.
It's my attempt at drawing Jing King, since hey we never actually see her face in the series. I wanted to include her in on the party photo's a bit more so this happened.

Even before the-game-that-shall-not-be-named was announced, my post Sly 3 head canon was that Carmelita knew damn well that Sly was lying the whole time (she IS a detective, after all). And she told Sly that she went along with the amnesia thing because an amnesia diagnosis coupled with his heroic actions (ie taking a bullet for a cop) would likely help him get leniency from the court. But she still felt that it was wrong to try to lie to him about his identity on the off chance that the amnesia was real.
Sly then confesses that he gave up the thieving lifestyle to be with her because he desperately wanted what Bentley and Penelope have. And they have an understanding that she wont try to arrest any of his pals as long as they don't do anything illegal in front of her. And that agreement allows her to attend Bentley and Penelope's wedding.

Okay, iii can definitely get behind that. It makes more sense than Carmelita being completely duped by something that was pretty filmsy to begin with. It has been a couple months and none of the Cooper Gang has done anything illegal, so she'd be like somewhat chill with them.
If you do your own spin on this, I hope you add Carmelita in. Since I clearly lack me some fox lady up in here.

Now that you mention Jing, I'm thinking that a story about how she related to the gang before being dropped off at her aunt's home would be kinda cool (they must have spent at least a day together after her rescue). I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that she might have had a thing for Murray.

I can guess it probably took a couple days so Jing could spend time with her dad and the team a bit more, since jegus her time with Taso was so terrible she'd need some detox from that. Haha, it'd have been pretty cute if she was kind of the most fond of Murray by the end of the trip and he was oblivious due to being in love with the van for the most part.
Haha, I will! Because we need another lady in the team. Jing King probably is just as badass as her father.

The game's cutscene does say that the gang did a little sight-seeing in Shanghai before leaving Jing at her aunt's. Maybe visiting the tourist traps was Jing's idea?
I get the impression that Jing is a very old fashioned "demure Asian lady". Both because she came across that way in the game and because Panda King strikes me as a VERY traditional guy who would raise his daughter to be that way.
However, seeing Tsao treat his baby like property might have altered his views on that just a bit.

I can definitely dig that, she'd probably be able to suggest some places to go. Even if she hasn't been everywhere, she's heard some shiiit.
Yeah, it definitely makes sense. Considering the Panda King's behavior and how bloody backwards Tsao was. Haha, he's probably like 'okay, I'll teach you how to fight' among other things since he saw that shit go down.
