I really can respect you in the sense that you actually enjoy your work. Some of the voice actors I know just do it for the cash. :/ Granted I don't think it pays that much, does it? I'd imagine you'd have to have a side job - or perhaps the acting IS the side job.

I don't usually discuss my salary with people but since you are considering going into the field I'll be frank. When I was starting out it was very hard to get anyone to give a straight answer.
Generally it pays $35-$50 an hour for anime. $35 being more of a beginner's rate. When I was Toonami Tom that paid $400 an hour. Video Games usually pay around $500 an hour but usually only one hour is required. And that's the real hitch of the career...getting the hours. If you get lots of work then it pays, obviously, rather well. But it's very feast or famine. Some months you'll totally bank others you make nothing...although it's been a long time since I made nothing. Usually there's some work for those of us who been doing it several years. Luckily for me my other paying job as an artist helps pick up the financial slack in the slow months.
My average yearly income is extremely difficult to quantify. 30K-70k generally. And you don't have any way of knowing what kind of year it's going to be.

Yes, it is ALWAYS good to have something to fall back on. Personally I don't mind the fluctuating pay rates. I really have few needs other than the one to be creative. Also, if you land big enough roles you get paid to travel. Certainly an awesome way to see the world.

In this country very state but Hawaii. Outside the US...Canada, Australia and New Zeland. Looks like I'll be going to Ireland next year (fingers crossed)

Yep, but until he met Krillin, Frieza had never been mutilated before. Out of all the vicious, powerful beings Frieza faced on his journeys, it took a pip-squeek, weak-ass human to actually cause him real damage first. I mean, this was a guy who destroyed planets and KRILLIN cut his tail off?
Krillin's a badass...that's all I'm saying.

Heh, I do like Krillin though; he was definitely awesome in the original Dragonball and not too bad in DBZ. It's a shame that he didn't play more integral parts in the later series though.

Have mercy, my babydoll is eating Frieza's tail! LOL I couldn't imagine Goku feeling like he wants to throw up over that though. Since his stomach is a black hole I though he'd anything that's edible.
I can only imagine what would be said if we get to do a con panel together one day. When I brought that up, I bet you thought, ''She's knows I'm unpredictable. The question is can my Grasshopper handle what I'd throw at her?'' lol
