Description
My mom ask me to model a robot for her presentation, so I came up with this. Due to the limited time, I haven''t give the robot texture yet, just basic color and lighting. Rendered out and add on the background, effects and grunge with Painter 10.If there's any free time, I will improve this picture
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The functionality is next to the appearance and feel when I'm designing,
so there might be flaws.
The newest version I'm working on now has shorter top and bigger but still pointy legs.([link] )

very creative, but i think it woulsdnt be a great option on battlefield, because of the following:
1: the heaviest part is too high, and the surface area is too small - wich means, a bump and it falls. as i cant see any arms, i doubt it would rise again, so...
2: spider foot are very stable, but, as those have very skinny fins, they wopuld be completely useless in snowy zones, or in deserts or swamps. how about adding a mobile "foot" on the bottom of each leg?
3:it is a very high target, wich, actually, has a lot to do with #1
4:if you say it is an A-A drone, it should have more scanners, specially pointing upwards. those would probably limit it to be an anti-personal grounding death machine.
attention, this is just a bit of brainstorming to help you improve. im not descrediting your job, wich is, actually, something i can only dream of.

oh, and the drone is based on the "shape" of AA turret, so it doesn't necessarily have to be one.

i know - i saw that in a comment you posted, that you inpired on a ships AA turret. it was a pretty good idea - those round surfaces are awesome to dissipate bullets

does kinda look like the forbidden love child of a portal turret and a trashcan.

I kinda took the shape of a anti-air gatling turret on a aircraft carrier, a long white head with two gatling at the bottom. As for the purpose of this robot? maybe anti-air, too.
