I love this style of portrait. The flowers make it look like a tattoo. I feel like a black background though and the actual strokes in white would be beautiful and make the pixel-like squares on the skin stand out more. I don't know about chinese ink though, but I know it'd look cool with acrylic paint.

Yea, sometimes photoshop does have easier ways to make the concept work. Unfortunately, photoshop makes me sleepy and it doesn't feel like I'm creating, because brushstrokes are something of an art in themselves as opposed to getting brushes downloaded for whatever program.
