Another couple of cards is ready!
Here you can see The High Priestess/La Papesse/La Papessa
Choosing a character for the High Priestess was pretty easy for us: who else could it be if not our high summoner Yuna??

C'est très beau. Ce travail est très "fini", il y a tellement de détails soignés! J'apprécie beaucoup le mélange de couleurs dans sa jupe, ses cheveux et l'eau! L'eau est si belle... C'est magnifique... elle a une "vie". En fait, mon message n'est pas assez représentatif de ce que je pense... C'est d'ailleurs pour ça que j'ai attendu autant de temps pour commenter! Tout est incroyablement soigné. Et c'est vraiment ce qui met ton dessin en haut, haut de l'affiche! <3 Bravo!
Elle a l'air très sure d'elle, forte... dans le pose comme dans l'expression! je suis fan.

Yup this actually makes sense. Yuna becomes a High Summoner, water is often associated with the High Priestess considering her flowing clothing (something Yuna shares in common) and Yuna's Crest and Sigil to activate Nirvana is the Moon, the ruling planet of the High Priestess

One thing I like about this project ~DarkRinoa88 has pulled me into, is that I'm coming to learn more and more about tarots and their meanings

Yep. well I'm a bit of a Tarot buff back in school. i believe it was the Rider-Waite deck that introduced the concept of incorporating the Zodiac and Planets to the Major Arcana. That or it was on of the things taught in the Order of the Golden Sun. This is why in some decks Strength is VIII and Justice is XI because their signs are Leo and Libra respectively

This is the first time I ear about the Order of the Golden Sun, but I knew that thing about numbers VIII and XI being switched because of the Leo and Libra signs. (I just did a little research when I noticed not all the decks had them numbered the same way, but I haven't gone too deep)
My passion for tarots is more recent. It all began with a manga, X/1999 from Clamp...
And after that I happened to play a videogame who was all centered about tarots, and then ~DarkRinoa88 asked me if I wanted to join her in this project... I almost thought it was fate XD

Omg X/1999 such a good manga and anime. I actually got the deck as a birthday gift. Clamp did such a wonderful job especially with the Major Arcana. The manga does a very good job implimenting the Major Arcana in the chapters.And that is awesome that she reached it is a pretty awesome project and lol it could be....or hitsuzen

I haven't seen the anime, but I LOVE the manga, and Clamp's works in general.

Clamp's work is pretty incredible and yes, yes that is very true. I think you should watch the series. its pretty short, about 24 episodes, doesn't have the intense blood and gore, shortens considerably the number of sites needed to be destroyed, takes out the reference to the CLAMP School Detectives and the Clamp Blowfish, but it is still a good series. plus the music is beautiful, though when has music in clamp shows have not been XD
