My 3D modeling 1 final
We were supposed to base our model out of one of the rooms in Elsa's castle, though we were allowed to change it a bit. I am by all means a Maya modeling newbie, but I hope to practice and improve! Personally I wish we had more practice with Maya since that was what are final was required to be in. We spent a lot more time in class going over how to use 3DS Max compared to Maya, and by the time I got used to that (and could make much more complex things than this) we switched to Maya. I wanted to learn both, but wish it was a more evenly distributed time.

Nice work for your first project, especially using a program you weren't used to. Maya has a pretty steep learning curve but once you find the few major tools you can model anything. Are you an Animation major?

It looks wonderful for not using Maya much before working on it. The only thing that seems a bit off to me is the stairs themselves. But other than that wonderful job! (I started working in Maya myself this year but my class is focused on it and no other software so I've learned quite a bit)

Looks awesome! Β They did pick something complicated to model... lol Β I'm pretty bad at modeling stuff in Maya. Β I never tried 3D Max. Β Sounds like fun, but a lot of stress.
