Night of July 27, 1510

This episode's Guess The Plot Award goes to Rasselboeckchen for "That sounds like a job for a cat!" back on Part 3 . Not quite a cat but close enough.

The Silver Fox hasn't shown up since back in Chapter 141 when he stole Daetorious's chicken eggs so newer watchers may not remember him at all. All his pics are in this gallery folder in my stable group. Here's a summary of his story so far:

The Silver Fox was first seen last year when it broke into Daetorious's hen house to steal his chickens and got caught, but escaped by running across the frozen river so Daetorious would fall through the ice. Back when they first met Alastor, his brain injury and hearing damage made him appear to be a complete jerk so Daetorious rashly confronted him and Alastor cut him with his knife, leaving Daetorious with a permanent scar, but Daetorious's demonic blood carries lethal pathogens as a defense mechanism (adapted from Daetorious originally being a xenomorph) so months later Alastor became deathly sick and the characters brought him to Dr. Valkryja who used Daetorious's blood to give him the same immunity that demons have; that night, while Baby Doll was staying in Alastor's room overnight to keep an eye on him since none of the other characters were able to, the silver fox snuck in and hopped up on Alastor's bed, and Alastor snuggled up to it in his sleep so the fox just went to sleep with him. It crept out of the room before Daetorious saw it the next morning when the other characters arrived to check on Alastor. A few months later, it made off with some of Daetorious's chicken eggs.

This is the first time the fox has appeared outside of Thespiria (Alastor lives in Texas, USA). After Baby Doll went home and the night settled in, all of Alastor's new calves suddenly panicked and ran into his garage to cower in a corner in terror. Alastor, in a testament to his fearless nature, bravely ventured outside in the dark alone to investigate. Nicotine accompanied him cautiously. People following along with my art have probably forgotten about the fox by now so with Alastor's memory impairment, it's very likely that he doesn't remember it, either.
