Celestian: "I feel silly." :/

Daetorious: "You're adorable!"

Daetorious went online shopping for show attire and tack for Celestian and showed him some ideas, sneakily managing to get him distracted pouring over all the possibilities. Another random website recommendation again for wildcowboy.com as they had tons of neat things I never even would have thought of, like little decorations for the corners of your shirt collar! Normally only girls get to have accessories and guys have this stupid "as plain as possible" rule but this had all kinds of things to decorate Celestian with. The shimmering color-changing holographic tack set is on punkponies.com. I put my drawing ref screenshots in stash in case anybody would like to see Dawn's tack set and Celestian's western show attire in real life. Apparently that white shirt is discontinued or something because it comes in many colors --- in fact he and Daetorious are wearing the same shirt and Daetorious has the black-on-black version which actually exists --- but i could only find one store listing for the white/blue version so i had to take a screenshot of some other color just to have a ref for the pattern/design on it. I found a really cool "galaxy" patterned tack set that I really wanted but it only came in standard size so maybe I'll/he'll buy it later for Rain.

Pony tack tends to be cheaper than draft-size tack, you just have to deal with most of it being kid-themed. The holographic set he picked was probably meant for kids too but he loves things like that and it actually came with a bitless bridle version! There are rhinestones on the browband as well as the pegasus wings breast collar, which he may have had to go through the buckarooleather.com custom tack sight for that and got the slightly different winged version so he could get it in the same color as his side saddle.

Side saddles have to be custom-made for the horse, and that's where the price tag on Celestian's western stuff blew Daetorious's away. The base price for the saddle he picked was $6,500 and then varies after that based on what options you want. Altogether the price of all the stuff Celestian/Dawn wear totaled over $7,100 minimum. Here is a fun thing, tiaras to put on your cowboy hat in place of a hat band. Celestian saw those and got the idea to have a copy of his crown forged so he could wear it and his hat at the same time. That's the one thing that shouldn't matter when it comes to dress codes since realistically in real life, you probably wouldn't ask the ruler of another country to remove their crown for your horse show.

All of this stuff took time to order and come in the mail, especially the things that had to be custom-made, or didn't fit right and had to be reordered, and it was October by the time the last of the packages finally arrived. They've finally caught up with the IRL season and are ready to go to their first harpg show....

My personal recommendations that I have used for many years are Norton 360 (approx. $80-$100 for 1 year, great customer service), AdBlock for Google Chrome (free, also works on YouTube/videos) and Pop Up Blocker for Google Chrome (free) .

their location on the map is the little tack room close to the sheep pens over on the left. the last time it was featured in the background was August 10 , all the way back on Chapter 11!
